  1. That wagon reminds me of the old Passenger wagons from the MY OWN TRAIN series. Those things sure were something.
  2. I'm planning on adding blue baseplates to my train layout for the shoreline. It seems complex, but hay, it could be a canal.
  3. That seems nice, a Pizza Display. Maybe I should try that, with a mountain engine on the upper layer.
  4. I, myself, have a tunnel on my LEGO railway. Only it is papier mache, not brick.
  5. Hmmm. I would like one of those sets for a Christmas present, but I don't have the money .
  6. Hi, everybody. For the past few weeks I have been working on a train station. You all sent me great ideas, and I pasted them all together. Enjoy! Since I cannot show you the pictures here for some silly reason, check it out at my MOCpage at mocpages.com I hope you enjoy. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:
  7. I have found pictures of these new trains at these links. Train Crossing Train Station Passenger train Freight train
  8. I'm getting started on it. Will be released soon.
  9. I'm pretty sure those stickers are for locomotives and other rolling stock that you make.
  10. I don't know what you're crabbing about. I think 7898 seems fine. Although, it does remind me of Pennsylvania railway electric shunters.
  11. Since this is Mexico I'd say to think Wild West. How about a 4-4-0, 4-6-0, or 2-8-0. That's all I can think of.
  12. Thank you everyone that has posted. Now I can get on to building.
  13. I am currently working on an old train station on LDD. I am thinking of doing a two-platform station, with glass windows on the sides. If any other ideas, please tell me them so that soon, very soon, you can tell me how to make it. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:
  14. I design my layouts on BlueBrick. I pretty much base my towns on Moushole, a town in Southwestern England.
  15. I have two Ted Blaylock pictures beside my bed in my room. One is of a RG&S train puffing through some snow. And the other is that very same picture.
  16. I have my own Emerald Night at home. Since there was only one coach, I made another one out of the bricks in my collection.
  17. Wow! Escalator and all, it is impressive. Seems expensive, though.
  18. - unnecessary quote w/ images removed by TheBrickster I remember that old LEGO cargo train. Your train looks almost similar to it.
  19. YIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEE!
  20. The Emerald Night is about 7 stud wide. The 7898 is 6 studs wide. I have the 7897 set, transformed into a steamer. When put side by side, they look like they belong together.
  21. The size of my layout is about 2'x4 1/2' To explain this, I just got some more train track for Christmas. You should also see the trains I have on there, of course my Emerald Night, and a creation of mine, a GWR "Hall" Class
  22. Impressive. What's with all of the Sceptic faces?
  23. I for one have seen the Emerald Night with the regular battery box. It kind of looks wierd poking out of the tender, but it works. I'd say to save money, omit the light. That's what I'm gonna do. And that battery box in America costs at almost $50!
  24. Since I wasn't alive in the 80's, I've never heard of 12 volt trains until I read about them on Wikipedia. The earliest trains I've seen on LEGO.com were 9 volts.
  25. Pretty impressive. I've seen the Cumbres & Toltec on Great Scenic Railway Journeys. Some great engineering on that railway.
