The Penguin's Castle Minifigures..... )
Jebediahs replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Oh my gosh LOL ahahahahaha ahahaha I laughed a lot when I saw that kid. He's great rofl! I've got to come back to him... That wraith looks perfect. I've always felt the orginal skeleton head was too happy and the newer ones too "alive" with their glowing eyes for when I wanted a skull to represent a non-living/non-undead fig. The darkening of the eyes is a good idea. Not the most attractive bunch but for humans those women look decent. Jeb doesn't descriminate because of race ;) HahAHAHAHA memories from me youth. That kid looks great! haha priceless. Good job, Penguin. ORC! -
The Penguin's Castle Minifigures..... )

What a charmingly dangerous family the Greens are. I love the tattoos. The father looks like a baaad baaad man and the dress with scarf combination works superbly with the momma. That orc in show biz is a brave one indeed. It took a lot of guts to tell his family of his career goals and I'm glad he's not letting anyone mess up his dreams. Especially not a piece of Crownie trash. :-D My only suggestion would be to add a baby orc using the dwarf legs lol Good stuff. ORC! -
I've been looking forward to these orc minifigs you speak of, Penguin. I'm beginning to think they're a myth! j/k :-P I know they will impress. I'm not as strong as you on the creation of minifigs so most of my energies are directed towards drawing the 'figs instead. /chuckle @ LoD. Perhaps our shamans attended training under the same master? :-D Originally my orc caster knew all types of magic but I may change him to only using summoning and other spells that work with the earth. I want to see your pics! Lux, what do you mean by "cute"? They're uber big-headed killing machines! lol Thank for comments. ORC!

The Penguin's Victorian Minifigures.....)

Hahaha awesome work. I love the Queen the best . Great execution. -
A couple of images depicting the misunderstood true heroes of the LEGO Castle line: The Maa'ri, the elite guard of my warband. Features a warrior, caster, rogue, ranger, and engineers(goblin twinz). More info on my Flickr. While looking at images of the strongest orc there is, The Incredible Hulk, I decided to beef up my crew. Please feel free to post any PRO-Orc/troll art you may have here or anywhere. m'(n_n)'m ORC!

Who you gonna call?! Welcome LegoMyMamma! BrickBusters was the first Flickr group I've ever joined. I haven't even joined a LEGO orc/troll group yet(big deal for me). Again, welcome to EB!

I'm in the same boat here. This prequel ties-in very nicely. I haven't read any Princess Quest yet but I did read the bios on your character list first then I read this prequel. Awesome stuff. I actually just finished texting my brother about your work. He's not into LEGO but loves a good fantasy story. Again, good work. I'm going to have to start my PQ marathon soon ;-)

What if LEGO changed the name of the Castle theme?
Jebediahs replied to -The Hyphen-'s topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I am in favor of "Lego Kingdoms" as a theme title. Perhaps the Orcs will finally establish a real kingdom. n_n ORC! -
lol noooooooo! The Orc Nation will be waiting for you..! Good luck with this guys.

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
Jebediahs replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I always giggle when I see these because they are so darn cool! Awesome job creating a handful of the lesser known bat-villains. Great job, Penguin! -
Yeah, she was a thief. Your rendition looks beautiful. I'd like to see her with hair also. Where's Waldo? I can't find him. O_o;;

Ahhh LOD, the greatest of all dragon masters and the best friend an orc could ever have when facing the Crownie Scourge. Thank you for overseeing the construction of an orcish home. Your assistance is always appreciated by our people. I really like the bed in the king's chamber. The shaman and his hut are also well done. Can't wait until it's complete.

/signed - JEBEDIAHS I don't want all the homeless pirate fans joining the Crownie Alliance.

Hopefully this happens. I've never been attracted to sets that try to be too historically accurate or too concerned with mimicing real life like the original Castle or Pirates lines (I absolutely loathe City). I became interseted in Castle when it started going fantasy. I'd become interested in Pirates if it went licensed. There'd be some neat figs there. Of course, who's going to care about sets when they're spending all day on Lego U? heh heh heh

Hello! Bereft of bricks. . . but hopefully not forever!

Brickforge - opinions? Thoughts?
Jebediahs replied to Commander Assassin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I've only recently gotten back into LEGO in July after about a 20 year stint in the Dark Ages. Brickforge has been there every step of the way as I've (re)built my LEGO collection. I've had zero problems with my multiple orders and every piece fits with the official LEGO minifigs beautifully. Also, my orcs appreciate BF's high quality weapons. ;) -
Hey there buddy. I know how you feel about my kind but could you do one of your scribbles of my leader, Treb'Or please if you have time? Preferably a pic of him alive if possible n_n; I was waiting until I got a decent camera for a better pic before posting a request but that ain't happenin'. ;-)

lol Poor Jester. For his sake I hope the King somehow doesn't know who is behind this prank. How did the Jester manage to lure the King into this trap?

Very nice Bdog. The beads are superb!

It keeps getting bumped and it's new to me! Very nice lava but as mentioned before a few varying levels in the lava flow would provide a more believable effect.
-
Kudos on this piece. I love the chaotic look as rock and debris swirl violently across the scene! Good use of the tubing; I'd want to use this technique in an earthquake vig I'm doing.

Really nice posings and overall style, there Rayman. I enjoy the black & white "preview" pic the best.

I voted for both because I am a fan of comic book superheroes in general. I like characters from DC & Marvel so I win either way. But I'd really like to see Beast from the X-men in his blue-ape form (not the cat one) and the 5 original X-men done...hm, come to think of it I should have voted Marvel :(

This car is outstanding! I love the bat-head thing, very nice. An amazing ride from one of the few of today's cartoons that doesn't disappoint me and you did it justice. Excellent job! :)
