  1. Mine was the 8455 and I bought 2 so I could buld the b model but lost interest for afew years till I saw the 8258 set in 2009 and bought one then a few months later bought another two to be used to build my own models,I also bought two 8265 sets the same year one to build and the other to go in my parts collection but I never built my own models and just lost interest again due to other hobbies and health problems. Then about a month ago I decided I wanted to build something with the lego I had so looked online for something to build or to give me an idea and saw the new Technic flagship set and decided I wanted it so I bought one but it didn't stop there so I looked at the 2014 and 2013 flagship sets and bought one of each set, then about week after I bought another 42030 and 42009 to go in my parts collection to build my own technic models. But all 5 sets are in the spareroom unopened as they are a Christmas present to myself and I am waiting till Christmas day to build them.I am also in the process of buying the missing bits I need to build the 8043 set and I only need to buy the yellow long angled panels but I might build it in red as I have 4 from the 2x8258 sets I have and the other ones will be cheaper in red than yellow but not sure yet. I will be buying another 42043 after christmas for parts and 2x42042 one to build and one for parts but might buy one before Christmas,I will be buying more sets next year as I have the bug again for Technic Lego.
  2. I started using my big tool box that I used for my rc Cars to store my Technic lego then I decided to get something better so I got these. Which were £2.49 from Home and Bargin And these were £1.49 from Home and Bargin I got this from ebay with some Technic lego which cost me £15 with atleast £60 worth of Technic lego inside. but soon ran out of space so I got these at the weekend which cost me £53 for 4.
  3. Just to let everyone know Brickshelf is back to normal now.
  4. Does anyone know what is going on with Brickshelf at the moment as the website is show zero files in 305,382 folders as I was going to look at some on the folders I saved in my bookmarks.
  5. Great Review Blakbird. I'm Ordering mine from Amazon.co.uk on Saturday as thats when I get paid and I'll have another 8258 Crane Truck tomorrow to build the B-Model and a 8295 Telescopic Handler next Month to build.
  6. Welcome to EuroBricks,Enjoy your stay and have fun.
  7. Happy Birthday Guys hope you have a great day and get all you ask for.
  8. I have now got all the stickers on the Truck and out of all the names to choose from I chose Peter after my Dad.
  9. All the parts the stickers go on are easy removable to put them on and won't take long to do. But thanks for the tip anyway.
  10. I received my 8258 Crane Truck Yesterday and it took me about 10hrs to build 7 hours last night and 3 hours this morning because I spent most of the time rooting for bits in the bags as I had the box on a small table in front of me so I could sit on my comfy chair in the living room, and I had a great time building it and I am looking forward to building the B Model when I get my second set in about 1 1/2 weeks time. I still have all the stickers to put on and I am going to make it RC after Christmas. Here are three photos of my near completed Crane Truck.
  11. Hi guys thankyou for all the warm Welcomes. At the moment I only have a bit of Technic lego but next year I will be buying alot from ebay to build my own Technic models, but for the moment I am rebuilding my 8865 Test Car and 8440 Formula Flash/Indy Racer which I have had to buy new wheels/Tires as I can't find the original ones and the ones I've bought are Grey which is ok but I will buy some white ones aswell which there are some on ebay but with 5 days left on them. Also got some more bits for my 8868 Airtec Claw rig that were missing when I bought it off ebay but finding it hard so find some bits I need to replace the parts that are the wrong colour, but I am checking ebay every day to see if someone is selling them but up to now nothing.
  12. Thank you for the welcome Milan.
  13. This is a great review of the B model and a great B model it is,which is why I am buying a second set to build it and it will be made RC.
  14. Best review of the 8258 set I've come across mate and great photos of it and videos are great,I managed to get one off ebay for £84.11 new and will be buying a second set to build the B model which looks great too,but I don't think I'll get another for the same price so I might have to pay the full £127 for it and I will make them both RC after Christmas when I have more money to do it.
  15. Hi everyone my name is steven and I'm from Cheshire in the United Kingdom,I am 30yrs of age and have been a fan of Technic lego from an early age and had a bit when I was younger but then got into RC model cars, boats and OO Gauge Model Railways then a couple of years ago I bought two Technic lego Back Hoes as I wanted to build the alternate version, then I stopped with Technic lego as my other hobbies took over then about a week or so ago I got back into Technic lego by buying some bits off ebay and a 8837 Pneumatic Excavator for £19 with it's instruction but without it's box and I also got the 8868 Air Tech Claw Rig with it's box and instructions for £32 but some parts were missing and some were substituted for different coloured parts. So I am trying to get the correct parts to complete it but will have to wait as I have won a 8258 crane truck for £84.11 New off ebay and I will be buying a second to build the B version, and both will be made RC next year once Christmas is out the way and I will be also buying a few more technic sets next year to add to my small collection. I also do online gaming with my friends on my xbox360 and I am looking forward to playing modern warfare 2 and Forza 3.
