I love this MOC. A real old fashioned train station is nice to see in lego form and the interior of the tunnel and building is lovely. All the little features are great especially the turnstiles. Thanks for sharing this wonderful little thing

Just lovely. The shape is nice and smooth, and the colour schemes suit the minifigures. The aliens bike is a favourite, not too big and not too small. Thanks for Sharing

Harry Potter Minifigures by tin7
RoryoCox replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This batch are all excellent. I think my favourite has to be Nagina and her head. It looks very detailed and realistic. They are all excellent tin7, you should be very proud -
This is one of the most beautiful buildings I have seen. The colour scheme does it a lot of justice and the nativity scene is a welcome addition. Generally it reminds me of a Christmas night and it is really lovely to look at. Thanks for Sharing and Good luck in the contest.

Very good Basiliscus. It reminds me of a COD types scene with the zoomed-out picture. The MOC itself is really nice. The contrast in colour is really good and you choose the right colour for the road. The little building reminds me of others I have seen. Thanks for Sharing this with us

Excellent. The rock is really well made and a good use of the different colours of grey. I like th cut away feeling of it and the interior looks excellent as well. Also, I like the effort you made with the thieves.

You have made a good start to th engines but something doesn't look right. The guns are to skinner and the engines, for me, are a bit to blocky. You have made a fantastic effort but that bit of work you have to do will make all the difference

Review: 7307 Flying Mummy Attack
RoryoCox replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review. I don't want to get this set but if I see it on sale then I might be urged to get it. The minifigures are the only draw for this set. -
Excellent. It looks really aesthetically pleasing and the colours look well together. The contrast between the wall and wood is also nice. An overall impressive MOC. Thanks for Sharing

There are a lot of minifigures which have to be made or remade- 1. Kaminoan 2. Jango Fett- A totally new version 3. Garindan- A very cool mold and necessary for tatooine scenes 4. Greedo- A must have remake, it is a very expensive figure these days

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
RoryoCox replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Certainly for me the best minifigure has to be the new Boba Fett. It is really versatile, the colours are just right and the shape of the helmet is brilliant. The best minifigure I have ever got- -
New Lego Exclusive 10217 Harry Potter Diagon Alley
RoryoCox replied to GRogall's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hopefully it will appear earlier so I can get my hands on it. It is such a great looking set. -
No criticism from me on this. The engine and general front area is really nice and looks very tough. The general shape is nice and smooth around the seating area and the wheels suit it just right. Thanks for Sharing

Thanks for the review. This version is much better than the previous. The minifigure draws me to this set. All the little features are great, the cab is better and more spacious. I have to say that the back is the best improvement, it is more spacious and more features. The jail cell is also a nice touch. The little red sports car is cool as well

General Magma's Star Wars Figures
RoryoCox replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
General Magma your last two waves of figures have been very nice. I like the different versions of Starkiller you have made, much more like the real thing than TLC's version. Well Done, you are improving each time -
The Gate of Kaer Morhen - CCC VIII Prepare to war category
RoryoCox replied to kris kelvin's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Another fantastic MOC from you, kris. This one really is spectacular. Simple, with nothing over bearing but still full of features. The buildings enveloping the outside are fantastic, I like the grey and brown contrast. The cliff is also a great addition to the scene and the tunnel gives a senses of depth. Well Done and Thanks for Sharing this brilliant MOC -
Things that changed Lego forever
RoryoCox replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think that lego is only changing for the good. The fleshy minifigures are only for licensed themes to give a more accurate appearance of the character which can only be good. Also, the change in faces to include white dots is a step forwards. Yes, it may not fit in with other faces but they look good. I have to say one change I love is the grey to bley and brown to reddish brown. I couldn't stand the old colours but the new ones are much nicer and have a better colour. So to sum up, yes these things changed lego forever but not totally. There is still plenty of non-white dot heads, old coloured bricks and yellow heads out there. Nothing that will stop a true lego fan. -
Excellent. You have got the story line great and the pictures are great. I really enjoyed reading this. Thanks for Sharing

Not really. Plasticine is a more thick material that is great for model making. Whereas play-doh is a soft material for children. It's actually hard to explain the difference but it is noticeable when the two are side-by-side.

I just bought and started reading Terry Pratchett's- I Shall Wear Midnight. It is my first Pratchett book but it is promising so far.

Very good. As KDM said the actual sculpting of the wig is brilliant and a good finish colour. I have been looking forward to a wig for years so hopefully TLC will make one.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. The buildings are excellent especially the tower. The scene is full of action and looks very realistic. The market stalls are all good and the palace building itself is lovely to see. The overall placement of everything is great. Thanks for sharing

With your lack of pieces it is understandable that you cannot make it how you would like to. I think like others said the red does it no good. It does however make a good model of speeder. You have got the shape right and for a lack of pieces, I would be proud. Just a few more details are needed. Thanks for sharing this
