I know im a little bit late on the taking but i just wanted to post this.
As some of you guys may know this year is Transformers 25th anniversary (wow makes us guys look old ) 1984-2009 is about right! The Transformer toy line idea originated in Japan from a company named Takara (the japanese equivilant of Hasbro) and the car-to-robot idea didn't exactily take off there, but Hasbro thought the idea was great and decided to sell it here in America (but with different design schemes, different names etc.) The toys sold like hot cakes here in America! They sold so well that the people over at Hasbro decided to make a TV series about the toy line, But the law was back in 1984 was that Toy producers (like Hasbro) couldnt make a TV show about their products, But then He-Man (Mattel) changed that.Today the Transformers are still a hit and growing 25 years strong!
