    Castillo

I made a fort based on the Castillo de San Marcos in Florida. Tried to use the techniques that were used for fort Branco. I made it with Lego Designer... unfortunately it costs almost EUR 300 to buy it :( It has sleeping quarters for the soldiers, storage rooms for weapons, treasures and food, a separate room for the officer and even a little chapel. The only problem is that I dont know how I can add the sloped walls to the fort by using Lego Designer... So for now I just placed them next to the fort, to have a complete set :) Too bad I had to use some grey bricks, since I couldnt find the white ones in the Designer, I would also like to add some doors, cause now the pirates can easily walk in :)
  2. You are right Derfel, I should raise the dock, because it is not suitable for the large ships. Thanks for the tip. I really like the MOCs that you made. They are so realistic. Mayday, Anno 1701 was new to me, I love it.
  3. 104c I discovered classic-pirates just this year and I really love to see all the MoCs, especially the more realistic ones. I have a lot of pirate Lego, mostly bluecoats, redcoats and Imperial Armada. I want to build a port/harbour for these battle ships. Since for now I don't have the space in my appartment, Im using LDD (Though I hate it that not all lego parts are available). I started on a small port, just for one boat, but as you can see, it only has a tavern, a shipwright for small boats and the government building. My dreamport needs a fort to defend it and enough space for several ships. I already discovered beautifull MoCs from others, but would love to hear ideas from you all. I included my first attempt in LDD, which is also published at the lego website (username droopymccool or title pirates port) Hope you like it, but feel free to comment it.
  4. Nate 7 It really tells how people feel after a bloody war, it shows the fear
  5. The ship is indeed beautifull.
  6. Im really new to this site, but am I the only one who was really stunned by the beauty of the ship? Ofcourse the coastline itself is beautiful, but the ship really looks like a realistic vessel of the imperial age. Simply great! Got anymore pictures of it?
