  1. Yet another great vig, I keep looking through the forums to see if you have added another of your works. Keep it up!
  2. Really great creation, it would be great to see a return of Paradisa, and you've certainly captured the essence of it. Just one thing, unless I'm mistaken, you might want to change one of the windows to a wall of some sort, as all of Paradisa hotel can see one of the visitors showering.
  3. I should have tried doing it with my Taj Mahal, although it wouldn't work because the set isn't in numbered or similar bags, only on bricks of similar types. Still fun to build though, bags or not.
  4. Great minds do think alike! After finishing the set, I wondered if i could make the tram, and cut tiny holes so it's still bagged, but the holes are areas where the connectors, well, connect.
  5. Not exactly a space hangar, but essential for any SP creation. Again I am referencing Xenobuzz's creation (this guy really needs an account here) Link to the creation: http://www.xenobuzz....y%20Station.htm For anyone interested, the full site: http://www.xenobuzz.com/index.html#bfo
  6. never thought of it like that, thanks 'Siegfried'
  7. thanks, oh well. Now if everyone will excuse me, I'm going to go cry in the corner
  8. Earlier today I happened upon the two Atlantis impulse sets and couldn't resist buying them. On the way home (I wasn't driving) I decided to build 8072, but that meant a chance of spilling the parts and losing them. That was when I had an idea: Why not make the set in its packet? So I did, it only took about 10 minutes, and surprisingly not that hard. Unfortunately, I am unable to post the images of it here, so I'll post the Flickrv instead. Comments and criticism welcomed, and if you have already heard of this practice, then please tell me. Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/50725769@N06/sets/72157624498975336/
  9. Has he changed the colour of any bricks via the paint tool? Or maybe he's using LEGO Universe Mode. Either way, this renders the creation to be uploaded. To eliminate the problem, you may have to rebuild it on the plain old LDD, and I am unable to help you to fix it if he's used the paint tool. Hope this helps
  10. And I thought the topic had died. I'm hoping for a minifig in series 3+ with a gas mask, if not made by TLC, then by brickforge maybe?
  11. On a lighter note, does anyone think it's possible to see another adventure theme will come around? Maybe a group of heroes and villains travelling all over the place, even the moon. And will World Racers introduce a new team?
  12. As some of us may know, the spybot had great potential, however, no (as far as my research could find) other uses of the series are existant, instead, it lies a dead product. I brought this topic up because I recently pulled my spybot apart, and decided it was time for reuse as a tank base. Unfortunately, I am stuck for ideas . Does anyone have any ideas on how to make use of the main body of the tank, or will the spybots be one of the least remembered series of all lego time?
  13. Ok, is it worth buying it on a computer? As I only have that and a Wii, and with how much LEGO I buy, getting an xbox or ps3 is going to be a little hard...
  14. I doubt it will happen, but a Zelda theme would be nice, especially considering there will be a new game out either very late this year, or early next year. Ideas may be Link taking on a large monster, or a special set where link must penetrate Ganondorf's Gerudo desert hideout. Anyways, if not, I suppose the new pieces out can take care of it
  15. I know, but the torsoes are, right? If not, oh well
  16. I can see where you're coming from, and I agree, although I can't personally participate. When I purchased my minifigs, they may have been discoloured, but only in the slightest, and when compared with the other minifigs, they are almost the same. I do agree with the quality issues; they are not the best, if it is ABS, then they are definitely the spawn of chinese factories. If anyone does plan to send this, add more about the value of customers, and how they are letting them down.
  17. As we all know, with LEGO, anything is possible
  18. I love it, if I could find instructions, I'd be making myself an army of them, for my apoc world
  19. Found it in MYER Karrinyup for either $200 or $300, but there were at least two copies. Hope this helps
  20. At long last, my quest is over. I went to Joondalup Target this morning, and found 3 opened boxes of minifigures. There were about 35 when I arrived, when I left there were 5. Upon arrival at home, I opened them and had the following: 3 tribal hunters, 1 cheerleader, 1 caveman, 1 clown, 3 zombies, 0 skaters, 3 robots, 2 crash-test dummies, 2 magicians, 3 wrestlers, 1 nurse, 3 ninjas, 2 spacemen, 3 forestmen, 1 diver and one cowboy. While there, I checked the other shelves of LEGO and found not much, just the new stuff that's out everywhere. I considered purchasing a second PoP Ambush set, but was so swept up in the minifigures, I completely forgot.
  21. Hurrah, called Target Joondalup, and was given comformation that they had them in stock. I will possibly be heading there later on, when the traffic may have calmed down. Finally, those days of waiting are over.
  22. Not much, just the new airport and others, alas no train crossing or station. Also paid a visit to Stirling, I found the box, opened it, and was extremely unhappy to find not one, stinking minifigure in there. I checked all the shelves, floorspace etc., to no avail. So in the end I gave up and asked a storeperson, who told me that was the last box, and directed me to the fitting rooms where they would phone another store, to see if they had any in stock. Innaloo didn't pick up, and Morley had none at all. Tomorrow I'll pay Target in Whitfords (and possibly Toyworld) a visit, and hopefully I will have my search ended, after 2 months.
  23. Same, his other work is well worth looking at, right now, those giant wooden doors are going to be very helpful.
  24. On a trip to Karrinyup (Perth) on Tuesday, I found all the Space Police, Toy Story (inc. Toy Story 3), City (no train station or crossroads) and practically every other set, except the minifigures, Kingdoms or impulse sets. Also asked at Big W, the guy behind the counter was clueless, so just directed us to the LEGO section. Right now, I'm only able to make visits to Karrinyup, Whitfords, Warwick, Stirling Gate and possibly Joondalup, so not much chance of spotting them.
  25. This isn't my creation, it's Xenobuzz's (not sure whether he is a member here), but he hopefully won't mind if you use a little of his ideas, just be sure to give him credit for it. The link: http://www.xenobuzz.com/MyLegoCreations/Bl...s%20Outpost.htm
