  1. I voted the 6066. I like this set very much for it's looks. It is not a fortress like the 6071. It's really a cave with a big tree. you don't expect a hide-out in there. The Forestmen crossing has a same kind of look, but the crossign looses from the hide-out when it comes to playability. the 6066 has three (!) hidden (!) entrences! And a guardtower hidden in the big tree. And a brown horse (hard to get those days), and a black forestman. The crossing is more like an addition to the Hide-out. It's like the secret road from the hide-out the the King's Mountain Fortress. The crossing can't stand alone, for it needs two places and a road to exist. While the hide-out can stand alone, and it doesn't necessarily needs a crossing like this. which doesn't mean the i don't like the crossing. I just like the hide-out more.
  2. Nice test, Phes. Thanks! My score was 80% and i got 99% compared to the score of other of the same age and gender. That's quite a surprising score for someone who lives in Holland and hasn't been into pirates for nearly 10 years. Still i think i missed some storylines here in Holland. For example, i didn't know anything about a second pirates-captain. And the Spanish and the French didn't have any names either here. Only when the pirate-line was launched (that was in 1989, piece of cake) all the characters were introduced. Later on there were just the new sets, and you had to figure out the names by yourself. Anyway, i'm also curious for the answers. I really wonder why i didn't have that 100% score. :-D greetings, Sir Thomas
  3. I find some of the KK2 sets also good part-packs, when they're for sale. For example, the Border Ambush is a great partspack. Many plates, many bricks. Also many new lightgray bricks. And a Shadowknight! :-)
  4. I know the pic's. It's from Teup's Viking Village. check his gallery. great mocs though, but no new sets.
  5. wel, if you don't mention the prize, it is quite a nice set. it's better then the older communityworkers-set, more up to date, newer minifigs. If i had a town, i would buy this set.
  6. Hi, I'm Thomas, 20 years old, single, from the Netherlands and proud to be an Afol(y). I'm member of Lowlug since 6 months orso. Great community. Castle is my favourite theme. I love castles and churches and towers and gates. Anyway, this site looks great. A small community, yet. But i think it will grow pretty fast. I think i will enjoy this community. ttyl, Thomas
