What if LEGO changed the name of the Castle theme?
JeffD984 replied to -The Hyphen-'s topic in LEGO Historic Themes
"Other blocks play, LEGO kill" I can just picture the ultra buff guy from the ManOwaR covers with a Lego head -
Great job on this! A lot of fun. I'm having difficulty finding the frog, but I can spot the rats

Pretty cool, very gritty. I like the smattering of blood in the background.

This looks like a fun ship, one that just puts a smile on ones's face!

I've enjoyed it very much. My favorite is Rust In Piece and guitar solo wise, Endgame comes the closest to it. There are even Dave's complex, time signature heavy riffs throughout the album. I would say that Endgame is better than The System has Failed and United Abominations but doesn't really touch Megadeth's early/golden years. Listening to "The Bird-Serpent War/ Cataclysm" by Symphony X

I would like to say that I think this is a great start! It is a little difficult to see the details of the ruins or the excitement of the explorers due to the distance away from which you took the pictures; but, at the same point, it gives the illusion of being "in the middle of no where". Personally, I'd like to see this as a work in progress. You have a lot of space to play with. Maybe have some varied height to the temple ruins as right now it seems to peak at around five blocks( which isn't much taller than a figure). Also some scattered blocks to show the decay of the temple would be great. Overall, just try and break away from the flatness. I hope you don't take this as being nasty and vile, but rather as constructive and helpful!

I watched the Departed and the Dark Knight yesterday. That's like five hours for just two movies!

Classic Pirates. If it ain't broke, then why fix it?

Such vivacity! Absolutely wonderful, great job!

What a shame. I'm certainly thankful that LEGO released pirates for one year; there were some great sets! I'm also happy that the sets sold well enough for LEGO to take notice and mention their success. Yet there is no denying the dissapointment that also follows this announcement.

Last I remember it, the entrance was like this: Enter the big room; a serpentine line awaits but on the right hand side there is a ship(I thought this was an x-wing, but maybe not?) that is being serviced with C-3PO and R2D2 doing something right in front of it. In this very room, in the upper left corner is a control room with Ackbar(or at least his race, so I acknowledge, it may not be him as well). From what I remember it's the biggest room while in wait. Doe this sound familiar or do I just sound loopy? Edit: I figured I would just look up some pictures and what I thought was an X-Wing is actually a busted up Star Speeder 3000. D'oh!

I hear ya, Oky Wan. I live at the end of the 57 and have frequented Disneyland as well. I dunno, I hope they at least keep the great sets that surrounded the line. R2, 3PO, and the X-Wing; Ackbar; all the droids. Those are just too classic to change! It would be great if there was the option to ride the new or old ride!

I still have Sensucht. I guess I'll have to youtube it! Another 80's/90's band that does pirate metal well is Tierra Santa. Check out "La Cancion del Pirata" Busca para parte uno y dos

I wish they did the story of the Fate of Atlantis as the fourth movie. I can always hope that it will be the story for number 5!

I'm still waiting for my Uncharted 2 Beta code to work! It's supposed to be up today!

Aw bummer, I liked the old Star Tours. I've only been to the California Disneyland, but it was one of my favorites.

Battle of the Randomness: BrickFair 2009 Edition

Absolutely stunning! I wish I could see this in person so I could marvel at the details! Just little things like the smoke coming from the Confederate's cannon and the accurate 34 star flag! Great job!! -
I like this a lot! The blood looks great, as does your governor and his mansion. But what happened to the rest of the knight decoration? I agree though, the stale piece of bread does look fearsome!

I've heard a lot of Alestorm and Swashbuckle, and to a lesser extent, the 3 Inches of Blood pirate songs. They're good, but didn't leave a lasting impression on me. To me, they just can't top Running Wild, the true masters of pirate metal! Under Jolly Roger!!!

I don't think I can add too much more to the list! But when I was around 14 I picked up this game for the Playstation called Final Fantasy 7, some of you may have heard of it Back then I thought Sephiroth was a pretty vile villain but deeply complex. Darth Maul is another villain I liked. He had a lot of hype behind him and was mysterious-you wanted to know more! Sadly, he wound up being reduced to just a small handful of scenes

The changes look pretty good, Matt. Although I think I'll have to see it in person

Wow, simply fantastic! It seems as if there are details within the details!

I really like your gatling gun! The Texas Ranger is my favorite!

A Hostage Situation
JeffD984 replied to KingUndertheMountain's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
At first I thought that poor GameBoy was being held hostage, but then I read that it's first person and it makes much more sense! Pretty unique, I like the lighting effect -
Haha, this is pretty clever! I like that heap of dead bodies
