yes i was! i want to build just a bunch of brown flatcars (plain i know) in 8 wide you have no idea how i labored over that boiler! i spent my 5 day thanksgiving break just to build it, i only stopped to eat and sleep i give you guys a video sometime after Christmas because i am going away and coming back on Christmas eve thank you -
wow really, never thought i would like a European train as much as i like this one (no offense to European builders) this is truly amazing!

finally, after a half a year of work from concept to finished product i give you.... The Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad's (ex DRG&W) K-36 mikado (2-8-2) narrow gauge locomotive. the K-36 is a narrow gauge engine built by the Baldwin locomotive works in 1925 for the DRG&W (Rio Grande) They have 36,000 lbs of tractive effort which is what the 36 in K-36 stands for the K stands for the 2-8-2 wheel arrangement. just a note this is the same engine that Brian Williams circus train has, I started work on the wheel set 2 weeks before i saw the first pictures of his great model (he beat me to it ) . I did steal the boiler from him so many thanks to him for that. more on brickshelf (when moderated) prototype hope you enjoy, this engine was quite a challenge

thanks guys!

first up is my southern pacific commuter train. All it is, is my GP 40P-2 with one of southern pacific"s signature dark bley bi-leveled commuter cars prototype next is my latest in the CSX bright future scheme, a GP 38-2 number 2720 prototype enjoy!

i too shall remain skeptical i checked peeron and the set numbers aren't from any previously released set how did you find out?

wow this is quite an improvement over your previous version it has a cheese slope boiler which equals an instant win

there is a excellent article about diesel with PF in railbricks #6 there are instructions for a 3 axeled bogie made for PF that works very well railbricks just download the web version and find the article about PF and there should be instructions at the bottom
-
thanks but these aren't mine if found this on brickshelf and thought it was worth a mention
-
maybe you've maybe you haven't but i thought it was worth a mention because it is the first model of the famous union pacific DdA40X's. the DDA40X was two engines put onto a single chassis, it is the biggest and most powerful diesel ever any ways check out this train. brickshelf go up to see some more cool trains too
