  1. Are you just trying to be a douche or what?
  2. It happened here. As for the Hero Factory sets, the only one I may consider getting would be Xplode. Awful name, cool appearance. Reminds me of the Piraka too.
  3. If you guys don't want it cancelled then you better be buying the next two graphic novels that are coming out. I'll definitely be getting #8 since it's all new art and story. And #9 too since friggin Canada ended off the comics at Issue 2.
  4. Lol, so basically Tarix was originally going to be pink? I can't imagine any Glatorian fighting him without falling to the arena floor and rolling in hysterics.
  5. 10.99 is the Canadian price.
  6. The only silver pieces on Stars Takanuva are his mask and blades.
  7. While all were equally cruel, there were things that seperated the Piraka from each other. Zaktan was the most ambitious and mysterious of the group, not only being made up of microscopic lifeforms but always brooding in a self-enclosed chamber containing Makuta's conciousness. Hakann was a blunt character who was able to devise plans of his own (like stealing Brutaka's power). Thok was modest, but did like to show off his power from time to time such as when he made the tree and rock come to life to battle each other while talking to Garan. Vezok was a character who while smart, was not as bright or sharp as he could be due to being split apart by the spear of fusion. When near Vezon, his usual self-controlled self would break into total rage as he wants that annoying but nevertheless cunning part of himself back again. Avak was a paranoid kind of guy who was sneaky and able to craft the Piraka's numerous gadgets. As for Reidak, well I guess he's one that doesn't have all that much personality but he's like a much smarter version of Krekka. Yeah, that's it. :P It certainly helps that the Piraka got one book completely devoted to developing their character.
  8. I don't think you quite get it. After three years on the same island, things are going to become stale and interest will eventually be lost because nothing has been explained. Are you saying that Bionicle should have taken place on the island of Mata-nui for almost ten whole years without anything being explained? If not, I'd sure like to hear what sort of idea that you yourself have come up with. A suggestion, anything. As Grievous stated, this could use some more elaboration. Although I will have to agree that the Inika/Mahri had terrible characterization, I don't see how much of anyone else has this so called "generic" personality. I mean, the Piraka were just awesome in this department.
  9. Lol, he almost did. But as seen in one of the serials, they became buddies looking for other prisoners to capture.
  10. If there is a new and similar line, it would be cool if it took place in the same universe.
  11. The main problem is that the Bionicle books don't sell well anyways so I think we can kiss that idea goodbye.
  12. Vehicles are better than playsets, but titans are far superior to vehicles.
  13. Does Greg mean he just wants to write about cybernetic dinosaurs in general or do you mean he wants to write about them ON Bota Magna?
  14. Doesn't matter if he's ugly with those parts or not. They're still in new colors which I will always welcome.
  15. I hope Zanier is the one illustrating it. I loved his art in the Hydraxon comic and I'm eagerly awaiting the one with the Skrall on the cover where he can truly demonstrate his skills.
  16. That's just awesome. Your style kind of reminds me of D'anda's work when he would make the characters have eye expressions since their face is obscured by a mask. I wish we had more of that in the comics these days. Especially since the set's faces are now pretty much exposed. Missed opportunity really.
  17. Yeah. Canada always gets the shaft. We don't even get the comics anymore. I don't know what's up with that.
  18. They're called impulse sets for a reason (and of old characters too!). Of course we'd "eat them up".
  19. Sorry, meant voice.
  20. Already bought it. There are some changes from the 'not so legal' versions. For one thing, Mata-nui's narration at the beginning sounds deeper and the music has been revised a little. Sound is better too.
  21. Hey, maybe Mata-nui finds some way to bash open Makuta and transfer its inhabitants to his new body. Sounds outrageous though.
  22. I hope by effort you don't mean the way it was animated. But if you mean audio-wise, then I agree. The use of the music and that cartoony sound at the end was really unnecessary. I didn't even get what Berix said at the end of that scene. To rephrase what you said, I think it would have been better if they put a little more thought into that scene and how well it would mesh with the rest of the movie. It sticks out like a sore thumb in my mind.
  23. Seems to be more of personal preference I guess. In my opinion, the overall animation for this movie is better in the sense that there are no awkward laggy moments in animation (like what we saw with Nivawk flying towards the coliseum) and the animations are less stiff and awkward (although it was greatly improved in WoS).
  24. Needs better sound design too I think. The first three movies had amazing sound effects that were unforgettable like the Rahkshi and Visorak noises. In this one, it just seemed more generic. The Rock Steeds had modified horse sounds and the Skopio had the usual generic monster roar used everywhere these days. As for the music, please bring back Nathan Furst.
  25. The whole Kiina X Ackar thing doesn't really float my boat. That's like having a 20 year old girl going out with a fifty year old guy or something, lol. Also, that Roodaka and Alien pic is awesome. I love the details on the Alien.
