Anyone notice the area behind this so called clone commando looks a bit like cloud city? You know the area where Luke gets his hand cut off. Maybe Salecumai, but deffinantly not Kashyyk. From the dialogue in ROTS it sounds like the CIS had launched it's first and only attack on kashyyk, also all EU stuff makes it sound like there was only one battle and no long lasting siege. It's probably a new planet for a single episode.

I nearly fell off of my chair when I first read this. What you were saying about the dinosaurs and "old" earth is very interesting. I had never thought that after the meteor stuck the earth we live on is very new. Too be honest it makes a lot of sense since with both the extinction of the dinosaurs and the huge wastelands created by the meteor which would have caused a huge change in earth's evolution. If not for the meteor hitting when it did then we (mammals) may never have evolved any further then a small mouse like creature. If anything the original inhabitants of earth were the dinosaurs and we kind've took over. Thank you very much for gettinng my mind rolling.

Okay I havea theory about the MIB and Locke. What if the MIB took over Locke back when Linus shot and shoved Locke into that pit with the bodies? Locke after that did seem a bit biter or at least meaner then he was. It would also explain how he got out of the pit.

Well I think that the first REAL trailer we're going to get is going to be at this year's Sandiago Comic Con. Based on this teaser i've noticed several things. -An episode with Shakk Tii on kamino -Possibly an episode in Cloud City based on the background of the clone commando dude -Cad Bane is going to capture C-3PO -Another Coruscant underground episode with Ziro -Possibly an episode set on dagohbah involving Ashoka's rise to jedi knight perhaps? I say this since she could be sensing the future. woot first post

Power miners is probably one of my favorite lego themes ever and many people's also. Yes many compare it to th old Rock Raiders theme wich some will argue was better, yet many more will say it's incredibly better. This thread's purpose is not to argue either way as both themes are great in their own ways. However this thread is to try and show Lego, at least in the AFOL community, that we love power miners. Now with the lack of any news on new sets after this last janurary wave of only four sets, many are left to believe that this is the end. I am unfotunantly among them and as much as I hate to say it, Power Miners might be at the end of it's rope. There are'nt even any rumours going around of any new sets coming out which leads me to conclude that after many months of waiting, they are'nt coming. Now I may be barking up the wrong tree and any newer sets in production are under lock in key in some Lego warehouse. This would explain why there would'nt be any rumours or leaked pics. However I don't believe this to be true. My proposal, to qoute myself, "If they're going out let's go out with a bang!". Lego Power Miners is a great theme and if it's going it deserves a fond farewell rather then being shoved to the side in the dark. I think that like Pirates, they should get one last huge set and with PM can work out to be something amazing! They have many options of a huge set like a Rock Monster "nest", A huge/detailed PM base, a giant super rock monster with vehicle, a giant PM vehicle, ect..... The possibilites are endless. The set could also explain one of the themes many mysteries like the strange earthquakes. Now you might say that Power Miners is , unlike Pirates, just another of Lego's countless themes. Nothing really too special that it deserves to go out with a bang or get a huge farewell set. However PM is one of the one themes to really go up and beyond itself. Many Lego made themes like Pirates, Castle, Agents, Space Police, all have practiclly no plots and no ongoing developments. They really use the same plots over and over again, which like one of my favorite game franchises Mario Bros. is not a problem. There's nothing wrong with that but too be quite honest, story driven lego themes are hard to come by now a days. We used to have Alpha team and Johnny Thunder and others which really tried to engage you into the story and the sets would develop around that plot. Those made me really appreciate the sets more and to be honest got me to go out and buy more of the theme's sets. Power Miner's is the only theme to really do so today and it's improtant that Lego keeps up that tradition. We can't just let them sweep it under the rug and be done with it. PM also only has gotten practically two waves of sets plus a handful of special exclusive sets. Well I say no to that. I say that we get together and show Lego that we really care about this theme and that is should be honored with one last big set. Power Miners has had it's dark times and many people had doubts about it succeding when the preliminary photos were leaked oh so long ago. However PM surprised us all with it's great set desings, funny monsters, and more engaging plot. It has'nt rehashed sets and it certainly has'nt tried cutting back on us. It's a theme that has been here for not long enough and will prematurely end without answering any of the questions the theme brought up. We still have'nt seen what is the driving force behind the rock monsters and we have never heard what is causing the quakes. Let's please Lego give the design staff behind PM one last swing at the ball and give them a chance to hit a homerun. Watch this and then say you don't want to see more? For you Power miners, Rock Raiders, and Lego AFOLS please sign your signatures. Let PM get it's one last big chance to shine befor the Reaper has it's way.

Thank you everybody for viewing so far This is not eaxctly my first time (I made an Ithorian for the SW BP contest here lat year.) However, this is the first one I really made to present as a standalone. Well he only ever used his front arms to do dramatic movements but besides that your exactly right! Maybe admirals for the most part in star wars are eye candy besides Trench and some imperials. Anyways thank you again for all the comments and feedback!

This is my first official Minifig custom on Eurobricks, so be gentle Admiral Trench or to others "That spider Dude off the Clone Wars". He is my favorite admiral and one of my favorite enemies introduced in the show. Now a while back when the episode he starred in called "Cat and Mouse" aired, I immediatly went to my favorite minifig customizer 'The Penguin' to ask him to make him. Now I love this dude (Trench, sorry Penguin ) so much that I was'nt content just seeing it made but actually having one of my own. So I did! Materials: Sculpey, modified lego hand, plastic spoon. Notes: Trench is missing two arms mainly because six made it look to crowded and a little ugly. Also his third set of eyes are missing in all of the shots. Thanks for viewing people!

If you are going to express your religous views, please do so in a way that won't offend others. If your in doubt about it, leave it out Anyways to get back on topic: From a young age I have always believed in aliens. Everytime I looked to the skies when I was younger I have believed that there must be something out there. When I learned more about the galaxy as I grew up and learnt that there was several billion stars in it, then I said to myself "It's impossible for it not to". Well since I was eight I said something more along the lines of "daaang!" but my mind was more in the direction of the first one. I personally hope aliens exist and if they don't and all that incredibly gigantic space we call the universe is empty, then i'll be sorely depressed.

Well many of you have probably heard or read of this, but very recently the acclaimed British physicist Stephen Hawking stated to the public his views on Aliens. I'll let you read this article if you have'nt already but he basiclly says that he believes alien life to be mostly either microbes, animal life, and the intelligent ones to be scavengers. He also warns us that it would be extremely risky for us to contact another alin species as it could turn out to be hostile. Stephen Colbert, a very popular political comedian here in the states, has shared a very hillarious view of the whole thing. Here's a link to the video which I would totally suggest watching! Link I somewhat agree with Stephen Hawking about his theories, but to be honest I find them a little to....narrow. He seems to limit it to aliens either being animals or highly advanced conquerors. Now I do agree that if we were invaded by aliens it would probably be very much like the conquistadors in South America or Chris Colombous discovering the new world. However I really doubt that all aliens that have reached a certain level of intelligence would be completely hostile. I think that he may be on to something but with everything it is theoretical. Now what do you think?
