  1. Thank you VBBN. This is a very similar deal to the one I had with Tin7, I will be selling these on my site.
  2. Yeah, that's a 90's set. I actually found some small toy stores in Germany that still had some of those sets as a matter of fact! And besides, Cyberslam rocks!
  3. Military. No specific countries, just generic jets, tanks, etc. Maybe some of the more iconic vehicles, like that plane who's name escapes me at the moment. In fact, part of me thinks that this is why TLC made a military battle pack for Toy Story, to see if it would sell. I personally think a Military theme would do quite well for LEGO. Admit it, we all know it, kids like military. We all do. Military would be a total cash cow for TLC. I can see it now, happy, smiling soldiers shooting the crap out of each other with super oversized machine guns. Oh, and hand painted camo bricks!
  4. I know of at least two printing errors I happen to own. One is from the 7676 (I think that's the number) Republic Gunship, one of the clone trooper torsos has a weird line going horizontally straight through the middle. The other is also a torso, from some SP3 set, the red badge on the chest is much lighter then my other four ones. Not sure if this one is an error, or just a variance from a certain set, but it's still interesting.
  5. I'm this thing. some kind of wheelbarrow with mounted guns and a random "keep out" sign. I think I actually have that set too. Backwards I'm nothing...
  6. Hi guys. I found an interesting gallery while browsing brickshelf. I see several new Toy Story, Prince of Persia, City, and "Kingdoms" sets, guess Castle got renamed. They certainly look real to me, what do you think?
  7. You could try putting some kind of "goop" in the clip?
  8. ET? Awesome alien BTW!
  9. you might be interested in my review I made a while back.
  10. Ah. That's too bad. But maybe there's a slim chance that you got a set that was in the store for awhile, and mine was a new shipment. I know, extremely unlikely, but one can still be hopeful.
  11. I just bought a Space Police set today, and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The instructions were on the bottom of the box, with the part bags on top, giving some nice protection, but there's more, the sticker sheet was inside the pages of the instruction book! So thus everything was in perfect condition. So now you no longer have to worry about bad sticker sheets! I might have to grab another cheap set pretty soon to make sure this wasn't just a nice coincidence. Hopefully it's not.
  12. Hi guys. I just got my AA order yesterday and wanted to do a quick review, so here goes. Here's my order. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2713.jpg Small, but it was still $43! The guns. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2714.jpg Its hard to see in my horribly rushed pictures, but there is a huge amount of color variance. Two are a silvery-metal color, while the other two are almost black, and if you look closely, you can see some very small defects, such as air bubbles. They also appear to have a rushed paint job... It's hard to tell, but this one is just about black. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2715.jpg You can really see the detail in this pic, and you can see what I mean by a rushed job. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2716.jpg Comparing the two lighter guns. Just so you can see the variance in them. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2717.jpg Comparing a dark and a light one. That's not just a trick of the light... Moving on to the vests. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2718.jpg Awesome detail! But again, you can see variations in color. Two are pretty close to LEGO dark tan, while the other two are much lighter, and don't quite match light or dark tan. Kind of strange, hmm... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2719.jpg You can really see the color variations here. You can also see some of the crazy detail HAZEL put in there. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2720.jpg Stud on the back. Moving on to the helmets. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2721.jpg These as you can see have no color variation. Why can't the vests be the same color as these? That makes no sense... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2722.jpg Here you can see that they are a perfect match to LEGO light tan. Again, if the helmets can be a perfect match, why not the vests? One of four minifigs I've made using the parts from this order. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2724.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2726.jpg A neat little box the guns and vests were in. The helmets were by themselves in a separate bag. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2727.jpg lol http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/firehawk...ry/img_2728.jpg This is the bag the helmets were in. each item was in it's own bag like this one, just different sizes. So, here's my final thoughts. Colors: Too much variance. If they would stay consistent they would be great, I really like the metal color of the guns, but I don't know which shade is correct with so many variations. 4/10. Items: 7/10. The guns had a lot of small air bubbles, and a rushed looking paint job. Could be better, but all the crazy detail makes up for it. Shipping: 7/10. Slow, but good packaging. Overall: 8/10. Good items, but the variations and tiny defects need to be worked out. Thanks for reading folks!
  13. I to, am interested, and have the same questions.
  14. Hi everyone. Well, after a long time of work, and some magic, 3 items from Tin7 are now available on my site. Right here!
  15. Can you get pics of what parts your talking about?
  16. I have some, but not that many. I'll check how many I have later. Do you have any classic space figs?
  17. O__O Grooved mag! I love them all. Please mass-produce them!
  18. Not LEGO. But don't trash it! It could be handy for MOC's. (I keep all my clones for use in MOC's, it doesn't bother me.)
  19. Oooh, gottta get that Saints Sword...And that bow....
  20. Alumilite. All the casting stuff you would need. You can PM me if you need any more info.
  21. Here's my method of curing, which seems to work VERY well. Put the glass/container/whatever filled with water in the microwave until it steams. You don't want it quite boiling, just pretty hot. Then put your new part in the glass/container/whatever after it is removed from the microwave, then, wait until the water is completely cooled, like not even hot anymore. Then you will have to paint it. I have found this to cure it almost plastic-hard, and it works quite well, from my experience. Whoops, didn't realize this was a bumped topic.
  22. Yes, but they were sold by BA at one time.
