Awesome, I like how you managed to get all three figs in the cockpit, it reminds me of that scene in ESB.

I like the Shadow trooper shot Fenris, it has an eerie feel.

Great setup, I love all the little details, Great Job.
-
That is pretty cool, in fact genius.
-
Wow, I can't believe some people would stoop that low to get figs.

I think you have valid reasoning in your argument, but I disagree with the comment of Darth Vaders Tie, the scene it was in, was one of the most iconic scenes from ANH. Also it could be argued that the Slave 1 is an obscure model as we mainly see it from behind, we never get many close ups of it, apart from the scene where Han is being loaded onto it. What we really need to see is Vaders Super Star Destroyer in UCS, now that would be awesome.

Great models, I love all your minis.

I got this today, and it is a very nice little set, the price is a little too high but what can you do? Your review sums up my thoughts on this set pretty well.

I got this set the other day, it is a really good plane and not a bad price either, and best of all, no quality issues here as all of it is made in Europe.
-
Yeah, my R4 is misprinted slightly, like yours, but the back of my R4's the head is worse.
-
Yeah, I don't use the rubber bands they give you in the set, I just buy a box of rubber bands of relatively same size from the post office.

Excellent review starstreak. I just got this set, the body is one stud wider than the original, as are the wings, so this set is bigger than the original one by one stud either side. The engines are obviously bigger, yet shorter, the structure of the wings is different, but not much. All in all an improvement on the original, though I do miss the sides opening up like the old one, the droid also sat higher, in this one, the head just peers above the cockpit.

I only recently got this set and for a fair price too (MISB), so that I could complete my Technic collection. It really is a stable set when it has rubber bands, but a couple of years and the set will totally collapse.

This is my least favourite of the Stars, the ball joint at the back ruins it for me, the original was much better. Good review though.

Great review, I don't usually buy sets that have pieces made in China but you may have persuaded me on this.
-
Yes, Mine has 3 of those matt black panels, I would assume they are produced in a different factory Possibly the UK. This is because it says it is made in Denmark, Hungary, United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic, and so far I have not seen any other sets that have pieces made in the UK, also this set doesn't have many special pieces.

On the box where does it say the components are made.
-
The Landspeeder is probably an exclusive.
-
Good review, thanks for showing where the components were made.

I would like to see him as a system set, with 20% BIONICLE pieces and I would also pay a pretty high price for him too. -
Well at least I'll have more money.

A chrome Boba Fett minifigure, not a magnet.

Chrome Vader, or Cloud City Boba.
