  1. I love it, the arches look great!
  2. I had fairly good luck buying a 6 pound box of assorted LEGO on ebay. The description said something about Star Wars parts but really I only got two lightsaber handles and a few guns in the box, the rest were plates/technic pieces/some random orange transparent cockpit pieces. It was just under $30, but well worth it, got a lot of light grey plates and a ton of little "greeble-type" parts.
  3. I saw the Endor Battle set (8038) on some blog one day, and because Jedi was my favorite as a kid I had to go get it. After I picked that up, I saw a red car in the Town set that had some pieces I could use to build a model of my Dad's '79 Jeep Cherokee Chief. I ended up buying a few town sets to get the correct wheels/fenders/etc (this is before I knew about Bricklink). Recently I've been into the Space Police III and World Racer kits, SP3 is kind of weak when it comes to vehicles for the police but the minifigs are excellent so I keep buying the sets. This month I got Slave I, AT-AT, Wampa Cave, Cad Bane's Speeder and the motorcycle and race boat WR sets. I'm hooked again, now if they would only bring back Blacktron...
  4. Thanks for the info, the local target has some in stock too. :)
  5. Fun comic, I'm a few strips into it so far. I love how ya use real sets in it.
  6. I'm really getting into this theme lately. Picked up the dirt bikes (8896) and speedboat race (8897) sets today. I picked up the wreckage road set last week. I love the minifigs from this set. The dirtbike kit comes with the team extreme logo on one of the space police style helmet (helmet link) which is one of the coolest helmets I have seen, will go well with my SP3 figs. I think the next big purchase will be 8864 Desert of Destruction, I love how that black off road truck looks.
  7. I hope this is the right thread for this question. Has the Cad Bane speeder been released yet? I thought it was part of the AT-AT/Slave I/Wampa Cave releases but haven't seen it at toysrus or walmart. I really want the Cad Bane minifig, but I don't think I want to have to buy the $100 tank set to get it.
  8. I like that too, good way to get a non 90 degree angle.
  9. Awesome! I like the two long blasters hanging over the cockpit.
  10. Very cool, I like the wing design.
  11. Very cool, I really like how you sank those square grates down into the floor. Look awesome. The cockpit window is very cool, and I like how you mixed the Star Wars and Space Police minifig pieces.
  12. Very nice. I really like the head, it reminds me of Dog from Half Life.
  13. Lol, the ewoks are my favorite part. Now I have three ewok corpses I can use to spice up any scene I build, hoth, tatooine, naboo... they work anywhere! :)
  14. Thanks for the recomendations! I definately want that death star, so many cool figures included with that. The echo base set is a good recomendation too, I was drooling over that last night. I want to pick up the snowspeeder base kit and the one with more troopers. Yesterday I got the battle pack rebel trooper speeder kit, today I picked up the assassin droid and clone trooper packs. I love those $10-12 kits. Gotta save the death star now lol...
  15. Picked this beast up today, after reading your review :) First lego kit I have bought in about 13 years... Had a blast putting it together, now I need more, more troopers, more rebel scouts, more more more! lol
  16. Nismo is the Nissan race team, I'm a huge Nissan fan. Have a 240sx with an SR20 as a project car right now. Grendel is one of the villians from Beowulf. I read the book in high school and have used it in some form for every username since then.
  17. Hey, thanks for the info :) I got an urge to hit up toys r us, and picked up the endor set and a tiny speeder with four rebel troopers. Having a blast putting it together, I think I can make this bunker better so I'll probably hit up bricklink. Thanks again! :)
  18. Hello, I love the site! I haven't touched any legos since I was about 12, think I'm going to get back into it. I was really into Space Police, and the white/blue/orange ice guys (can't remember the exact name). I'm going to see if my mom can dig up my old legos and mail them to me. I had a few other random space sets too. I remember one ship, it was red with a blue canopy, it was shaped like a + with black engines on each tip. It was way cool, but I can't remember it's name either. Two quick questions for ya all, are baseplates normally really expensive? I was looking on ebay, and the black/yellow space roads are 20 bucks a piece. Same with the mountain baseplate things, the one with the ramp and the pit in the middle. I really hope my mom didn't throw mine out, would be expensive to replace... Also, are there any ebay alternatives for picking up specific pieces/minifigs? Off to check out the rest of the site :)
  19. That is really cool, have you made any big enough to fit figures in?
