I agree that the economy in US makes a big difference, but the thing i´m mostly disturbed about is that a price can differ so much inside EU, even between Sweden and Denmark the price differ by about 20€ on Grand Emporium (rough count), how is this possible when sales tax etc is almost identical to Sweden. And we all pay unique shipping rates so that wont affect pricing.

yes this is all based on S@H prices I dont even dare to think how much that Norwegian price is in Swedish money

We finally have a pricing for the new Grand Emporium here in Sweden. I was expecting it to have pretty much the same price as the Fire Brigade at 1850 SEK. But oh no. The Emporium is listed at 1999 SEK here, it goes for 149 dollars in the US (thats 1069 SEK!!!) I know prices have been somewhat unfair for a long time when comparing EU and US but this is getting out of hand. I havent minded the price diffrence much before when difference was between 10-20%, but now we pay almost twice as much. And i know Swedes are not the only ones. As far as i can figure: United Kingdom, France and Germany(and several other EU countrys) pays about 50% more than US Sweden and Finland gets to pay almost 100% more I´m only talking about Grand Emporium for the record. What do the rest of you think? whats it like in the rest of the world? I can pay more because of inflation etc and i don´t like to whine, but this is getting hard to swallow.

i like them, gives more possible expressions for vignettes and scenes

problem is that if you want to make more money (like a fulltime job) you wont have as much time enjoying the money I´m in the process of starting my own company so i´m guessing i´ll have about 5min spare time for lego after that

if it works fine you should keep it and clean it. The gunky stuff might be leaked battery acid. Should not be that hard to remove with a solvent.

Tried to search but did not find any thread on this, but in the case i´m wrong any mod can feel free to remove this thread. I´ve just added all my old and new sets to my list on Brickset and it all added up to a (for me) impressive 23.304pcs. + 141 minifigs. If i add loose PABs to that its probably 24.000+ How many do you have? i´m very interested, Myself i feel like i cant get enough, always something missing for that MOC

I voted yes beacouse i would like to see it, but i dont think it is possible due to the Star Wars license. Also i dont think Star Trek will sell much among the kids, it mainly a series for teens/adults. If however it would be done these are the sets i´d like to see: Enterprise (of course) Borg vessels Klingon vessels Romulan vessels Kahn´s hangout from Wrath of Kahn Small shuttle Kirk fight big lizardman with really slow oldschool punches impulse set (is that not a catchy name for a set or what ) plus more scenes aboard the enterprise or other ships

ages ago when i got my black technic super car i got some extra wheel suspension parts in the wrong color. Pretty useless part to have though. Other than that nothing special...

one of the most detailed castle-builds i´ve seen. Truly amazing. Its even quite fun, great action and those fabuland figures made me laugh
