NO! they DID IT INCORRECTLY - THERE IS NO COCKPIT! THERE IS NO PILOT there is no walking talking droid minifigure that should go there. The same stupid thing lego did with Corporate alliance tank droid in there first version 7258 "Wookiee Attack" - they put pilot droid in the tank and this tank is automated no-pilot-no-passinger unit. Tri-fighter is automated droid starfighter like Vulture droid, Hyena bomber or scarab fighter. ship itself is a "pilot". there is no cockpit. ship itself is a droid.

i think in this case its more about lego droping on quality of prints and saving money, than problem with designe and more details. unfortunately lattely they have bunch of badly printed minifigs, and prints don`t look that solid like before, and specialy not that solid like 80s and 90s. i had unfortunate situations in MANY sets last 2 years with bad prints, faded prints, totaly missprinted parts, even had missing part (new arc)....:(

sorry but new minifigs like clone pilots in ARC look more realistic, more detailed and 10x better and didn`t loose any of the playability. can you say zev senesca looks bad? or jag? just cos they look more accurate? they look cheap and megablockish? don`t think so. i have feeling somethimes that some ppl would love the most 70s minifig without head print and without arms with just a green one with signed "this is boba" , white one with sign "this is clone trooper" , black one "this is vader"...or 2x4 brick with sign (or sticker) saying "boba", "luke"....WELL this way it would be more playable for sure :wink: .. fact is that ppl are stucked in the past...

come on guys! we are FINALY getting awesome new minifigures, that acctualy look like characters from movies and series - perfect movie&cartoon accurate grievous and perfect boba with new prints and details and you complain and praise that odd crap from old grieovus that looks like apsolutely nothing and that old boba is better cos this one is too detailed, look like action figure etc...come on! we should all be happy lego finaly started to produce figures as they should be - accurate, detailed, movie/cartoon correct

i can`t agree more with you! minifig looks terrible, ugly and cheap.

After we had awesome small Lego exhibition in one elementary school on 14.02. (video here: ), where my hangar was also featured, it was time to start building next level for big exhibition on 11.05. in Technical museum in Zagreb. so here is the resault...for now...As you can see fro the photos, i needed to cut in half my MOC in order to put it on table in my room....i`m not really shure how i`m gonna build next phases of this one...since i plan to put at least 1 row in front and at least one 48x48 plate on the right in time.....sooooooooooo......... yes. its 100% worth of money! reg. watching - must agreee - its kind of cool to watch first OT than PT. but i really suggest you to watch "clone wars" cartoons both oldskool animated and new 3D series aswell. you will get proper view of whats going on from ep II till end of EP3...and characters are way better personalised than in the movies.

i saw your quote. but still its not a big or important role of any kind- he tryed to prove himself to Jabba and tryed to get bounty on wat tambor , encountered Grievous and failed...more or less...this summons his work...ok he tryed to persuit wat tambor and grievous later and was more or less shot down by ventress and Anakin rescued him...but its not something big or vital for story, he didn`t do anytrhing exeptional or sometnig like that. he was just kid bounty hunter who tryed to earn his first money and reputation in bizz.so....he didn`t have any impact on story at all.

well if you think of Boba Fett you won`t see him during the Clone wars since he was a just small kid, hiding most of the time, trying to survive. He reached 13 y.o. just before order 66.....its not his time, and he doesn`t have role in clone wars. reg. mandalore battle pack... I would rather see some interesting clone variations than Mandalorians - like clone marines, paratroopers, flametroopers, cold troopers, advance recon commandos..or at least some markings of different units...

I was re-watching attack of the clones and revange of the sith, to get some inspiration and idea what to build next (since my big hangar project is finished and need some small mocs and vigs for exhibition on 13.02.) - AND saw Red Guards standing in Palpatins office! Wookipedia gave explanation why are they in the movies...so basicly they are 100% in the place. There is scene clearly showing Palpatin talking to jedi masters and behind them are Red guards standing in the room. will add window techniq in a couple of days

Red guard was formed by Palpatin prior and during the Clone wars from ranks of Senat guards (blue guard) as elit unit to protect him, later they became the Emperor's Royal Guard. In the 2 and 3 movie you can see tham standing in palpatins office together with Blue guards.

hi there, here is something smaller from me this time. Coruscant, Senat building, 3 jedi masters talk in hallway after visiting Palpatin, while Palpatin`s Red guard watch the hallway.

Acctualy I know a person (or should I call him lucky bastard:) ) who got 2 minifigs of chrome vader extra figs in a single box. It was in some bigger box as i recall, in y-wing or aat not sure anymore.

well! i will try to explain old version of arch (from 1986 castle set) turned upside down NOTE: its NOT standard technic common in castle creations, but I had to figure out how to put it upside down and attach it to the surface. don`t know how to explain it better. i used also the same element on top corner.

added little retrospective of construction from a star to finish to the page. now its all on one place. tnx everyone for feedback. I`m really glad you like it...was lot of work involvedin this one.

well it doesn`t have much feat. exept this light behind thsi big dish in central pillar. And i`m really very very bad in taking pictures :) I will ask some friends to take proper pictures of diorama on exhibition 13.02. They got far better camers than I have and know what to do with them :) Good point! Acctualy I already tryed that and works fine with rebels, imperials, republic and even with classic space figures. That was kind of my goal whan i started to work on this one. But on the end i decided it gonna be Separatist oriented because i really like them crazy guys tnx man! glad you like the final one! Whats next? well...... i was thinking of doing small scene from CW series (ep 2 seasson 1 ) whan anakin, ahsoka and plo koon talk in front of anakins BLT-B Y-wing....couple of clones workign as ground crew, puting R2 in slot of bomber, plo and gang standing in front of bomber , remodeling offical anakins y-wing to add some more features something like removing part of engine plating and adding internal pipes, hose and stuff so that it looks like its beeing repaired...something like that...
