I noticed an interesting variation of the new Updated Character Encyclopedia at Barnes & Noble today. It didn't include the prototype Boba Fett minifigure. There wasn't even a place for it. So be careful of where you order your book from. Make sure you're getting the version that has the minifigure.

The Sideshow figure is merely a white Boba Fett. The concept it drastically different.

I feel like updating Vader's helmet is a waste of a new mold. There's nothing at all wrong with the current one. This one just looks like an action figure head cut off and put on a Lego figure. It doesn't have that "Lego charm"

There is no way Lego would pass up the opportunity to release a big wave of Episode 7 sets alongside the movie. More than likely the winter wave will just be released a little earlier than normal.

I'm really excited for the T-16 if this is true. Ever since playing Rebel Assault as a kid it's been one of my favorite ships. The original set never did it justice. I just wonder how they'll do the cockpit canopy this time.

I think it's possible we might not see another exclusive this year. Wouldn't it be available at this point with the other summer sets at official Lego stores?

Seems like the summer wave has hit the US. Found all of the new releases at the Lego Store in Utah today. They said they've had them for a few days now.

Last year the UCS B-Wing was 50% off for May 4th. I doubt they'll have a discount that drastic again this year but you never know.

My local Wal-Mart has the sets already. Just keep checking back.

Anyone else notice that the snowspeeder is actually much improved over previous versions? Sure it's the same basic design, but it's a little bit longer now which makes it much more proportionally accurate. The back was beefed up a bit too. I don't see how they could have done anything else to make it better.

Isn't that kind of how it's been for years now? New figures don't really fit with older figures?

Yeah you're right. On the box they even label it as "Gray squadron pilot" so I guess they know what they're doing. Still odd that they put him in the cockpit rather than Nien Numb.

Ugh. Looks like they modeled the B-Wing helmet after what is actually a Y-Wing helmet. That's a little disappointing. Still very impressive figures though.

Picked up 4 of the new 2014 Star Wars sets at the Lego store in Utah today. They didn't have them on the shelves quite yet but they were still happy to sell them.

In which stores specifically? Official Lego stores? What state?
