  1. Beautiful! everything is great! There is just so much detail put into a single creation. I especially enjoy the flag, it looks very billowy and damaged, great work! @Slyowl- I think those are the "rockets red glare" from the U.S national anthem
  2. I think Woody64 did something like that, if I knew the link I would give it to you, he is mainly in the Pirate thread here at EB, try looking for him there, the has a link to his website. Good Luck!
  3. Im getting giddy with excitement! Hopefully luck is on my side!
  4. Im getting really excited for this. But let us take a moment and pray... Oh Lord, I ask Thee to not make me a reserve... Seriously, I sure hope not.
  5. It would be a lot of work for the hosts, but if it is done correctly (like in Hogwarts Mafia), then it could have fantastic results. But yes, it would need an experienced host, or the game could get bogged down in night actions. And I almost agree with Professor Flitwick, that we should build our own characters. But I also feel that the host needs to make the majority of the character's traits and background, or there would be some issues and conflictions in character. I personally think the host should make the character's background/night actions and the player makes the traits accordingly. Those are my thoughts on the matter
  6. I am never wrong! oh well it sounds like a blast!
  7. Sounds cool indeed, but I wouldnt give them facial hair, it would add some challenge if they all looked nearly the same. But I dont think sok117 meant clone troopers (correct me if I am wrong) What i was thinking perhaps on some planet have Loyalists and Separatists. Different species and weapons adds some challenge
  8. I like the Cold War idea, meybe just have it be like a Red Scare sort of thing? where a town is freaking out because of a communist uprising, this could be in the 1920's or 1950's
  9. I am really excited as well! I wonder which character I shall be? (assuming I am chosen)
  10. I kind of agree, but as they are hosts of the game, they get final say. Lets see, other things I want to see... - More pictures! Sandy's game was perfect, it had just enough pictures to make it really interesting but not too much to get confusing, so I give her a - Red Scare game, Based in the 1920's or 1950's, where the scum are communists, and you know the rest - Everyone gets night actions. I know it is a lot more complicated for the hosts, but it makes the game so much more exciting! Well, theres my 2 cents!
  11. This is my second attempt at Flergon Castle, a small keep held by a young Lord and his family. Enjoy! At the request of members here on EB, I added a lot more dark grey/bley to add some detail. I also added more windows/arrow slits as well as some tiling on the walls. Here is the back, where I decided to place a door to escape from in case of attack. Side View. The main entrance, with a squire teaching the Lord's son the art of swordfighting. The ground floor, which holds weapons for the guards, as well as food and drink. The second floor, this holds the dining chamber. Here the Lord's wife enjoys a meal. The Lord's bedchamber, also a small guardroom. Here the Lord holds his arms and armor, as well as ponder over strategies of war. He has received news from the King, he is to ride to war! The tower, which holds a single crossbowman. Not much to say about this floor. The top of the tower, holding 2 men to guard and keep a lookout on the surrounding area. I made it modular, and I must say that I am pretty proud of the outcome. The only thing I wish I could do was tile the floors, but I had nearly no tiles, and I am leaving in a week. Thanks for watching!
  12. I love this scene! The water is great, and I love the technique you used to make the boy building a sandcastle, i might use it one of these days. Great work!
  13. Great restaurant! I love the tiled roof border, are you going to be making a whole town around it? I sure hope so, but Kudos to you and your son!
  14. Thats a great little village! I enjoy how you made each person have a different face, thats hard to do in a village of that size. great work!
  15. That looks great! It does indeed look like a cloud city/medical center, now you just need to make a minifig size version
  16. only 2 more to go, I am getting really excited for this!
  17. Thanks for the comments everyone! To be honest I dont know where they will go next, maybe ill take them to college and they can join my adventures there
  18. YAY! My excitement is overwhelming, I would love to take part if you wouldnt mind. I have closely followed Hogwarts Mafia but I am afraid that is it, but I really want to play! Thanks for considering me! Admiral Ron
  19. Hm, an interesting topic indeed, there arent many things i do. I just make sure to open ALL the bags and double check to make sure ALL the bricks are out. I cannot count how many times I have had to go through the garbage to find bricks somehow hidden in the polybags. I also have to have a light on, to make out the difference between dark grey and black. I guess thats it
  20. Very nice! I like the techniques to build the bull skull and the building! What torso did you use to make the gentleman in the tophat? it looks really nice! One thing I might to is make the saloon one story taller, and make a balcony. I'm a conformist!!
  21. Simply Marvelous! I love the greebles and the overall shape of it! I cannot find a single thing at fault, now you just need to make it minifigure scale Again, great job!
  22. This past June I went on a vacation to Washington D.C, and i brought two minifigs with me, Carl and Rob. Enjoy! Here are Rob (brown hair) and Carl (red hair) unloading their rental car at the hotel in Jessup. It's a wonder they fit in that car! Here they are trying to watch some TV. Actually, I almost lost these minifigs because a fire broke out in our hotel. Nothing was damaged and it was put out quickly, but it still startled us out of our sleep. Before I continue, I should say that the minifigs are blurry so you can be drawn to the buildings they are looking at. Here are my friends looking at this nice building, though I cant remember which it was Rob- "Carl, it is waaaay too tall to take a picture of!" Carl- "Oh well, it is a nice building" These two minifigs love history "Rob, I suggest we find a path to the Lincoln Memorial, or we will never make it through this forest" "Good going Rob, you found us a path, lets take a second and get a picture of the Reflecting Pool" "Thanks, we are halfway there!" They got a lot closer, its a miracle they didnt melt, it was about 103 degrees F! That was a very long walk for two Lego tourists! These two pictures were very difficult because the Memorial was full of tourists, and naturally, I was on my stomach trying to get a pretty good shot. We found a Hard Rock Cafe, and Rob and Carl do love their Burgers! I really like this picture, they just look so darn happy! Apparently they also love Eric Clapton! The boys went shopping! "I dont know Carl, I think these will make my head look too small" At the National Cathedral, our boys are trying to keep along in hymns during a wedding happening at the other end! At the Iwo Jima Memorial, Rob and Carl take a moment of silence to the men who died in that war. Personally, one of my favorite pictures... "Curse you Congress, how dare they not give me Emergency Powers" Hope you enjoyed it!
  23. Thanks for the comments everyone! I ran out of grey to make it, so I am ordering more to complete it, I shall try to improve it!
  24. I'm excited! I havent played a forum mafia game before, but I really want to, I hope I get chosen!
  25. Hey there, this is the Castle of Flergon, the home and fortress of a young Lord. So here we go! General view More general view Back view I made it modular, the first time I have done so, and I think it turned out well, except a couple of tiles that have printing. Lets start at the top shall we? This is the top of the tower on the right side. Standard archer and spearman keeping a watch on the noble's land. Next level down, this just holds a single archer, who apparently likes solitare The third level, this houses the Lord's bedroom, with a small outer room to hold a single guard. The Lord's bedroom, with a bed and desk. This is also where he holds his arms and armor. The Lord himself, grinning with good news from the King himself! The second level which holds the Feasting Room. Here the Lord's wife is eating, and a watchful guard. The entrance level, which holds storage and weapons for his guards. And lastly, the grounds, where a squire is teaching the Lord's son how to fight, and another guard watching over the grounds. Total guards in this building, 7. And there you have it, I hope you enjoyed it, and please tell me how I can make it better! Thanks for watching!
