  1. no problem david. make sure it doesn't happen often...
  2. the good ol hobby train. a classic and a train that will never be forgotten. the onl bad thing was that it was only white, black, and red. the BNSF had 5 colors. so the hobby train is number 7 in my top 10. Metroliner and cargo railway, and Emerald night are my top three.
  3. I still have to go with the Metroliner. it is way better than the Railway Express
  4. ok. my poll is that the santa fe is number 3 on my top 5. it's so cool. to bad it was discontinued
  5. Me, I just pick my most favorite. and if you haven't read it already my top 5 are old and new trains.
  6. I have a job just like you but I cut my neighbors yard to. you should ask your neighbors if they ever need their yard cut. I get paid more than 200 big ones in just a few weeks. try that. I mainly blew all the money on Lego Train stuff. lol. i am so not thrifty. good job on getting that job. ohh... and try to save some money for a car. that's what my parents tell me
  7. ahh..I love Blacktron. It was so cool. I remember when I got my first Blacktron minifig. that was about 4 weeks ago. but I've been really interested in Blacktron. gotta love it
  8. Can't you buy it on Bricklink for $50 or something like that. the guy above you. I like how he talk. the 80's train are cool. but I still will have to stick with the awesome Metroliner. yaa
  9. 12 v is so cool, but you can't controll the spped can you?
  10. I know what you mean, I really want to buy the Railway cargo train but I don't have a paypal. my parents have to buy my trains. I pay them back. I can afford any train up to $516 U.S. Currency. then i'm flat broke. i'm trying to get an allowence of 30 bucks a month. that's enough to pay for all my Brickworld fee's I will have in the next several months. but yes. I understand. everyone has an opinion for their favorite train.
  11. well this set was my first and it was cool so my parents bought a few more trains. ahhh... heaven. until they discontinued selling 9v trains. but if it's true it's true. critics are critics and ratings are ratings. but hey all i'm saying is it's a good train and i'm not trying to be mean
  12. I bought this, well my grandparents did. for $70 U.S. currency. I still have it. if you look on my MOC pages you can see it. the second car is A lego universe car. but the rest of my train is in tact. this is a nice train. oh.. if you go to the brickworld the motor from the Railway express won. I put the engine under the Emerald express and modified it. very nice engine i'll say
  13. ok.. here's what you do, if it's going to be a scene from one of the movies. go online and find pictures of the scene and search more in depth. anyway if it's a custom. start from the inside then work out ward. that way you can look at the MOC once it is completed. if it's not how you liked it just move stuff around or take it off and restart. that's what i did for my train layout. but that's diiferent. what you just read is all i can give you , soo... goodluck with your layout thing oh.. the bricks. I either go to bricklink.com or go to lego.com and do the pick a brick. trust me do the bricklink, it's wayyy... chaeper. and yea... good luck
  14. isn't it just easier to put two wheels in the front like all the other cars of the train. hey gotta love those old train sets
  15. I don't care what you think about hating it, it's about owning it. I got this train set when I turned 3...3!!! I got really involved wit trains at such a young age. now look at me talking about all sort's of trains. i don't care what the train looks like as long as i own one i'm happy.
  16. if you ever get the Metroliner and Emerald express. don't let anybody judge your trains. those both are some of the best trains ever created.
  17. oh.. thanks guys. I was confused with the sign and thought of something else. The Emerald Night is in the top 5 best ever made trains of all 1. Metroliner 2. Railway Express. 3. BNSF 4. Emerald Night 5. Santa Fe train if anybody thinks that there should be a different top 5 plz post it. Lego trains are the best, other than city. with is cool also
  18. Good job on being blogged. maybe next year you will get more sets and more peices. I can think of all the creations with the few sets in my head. (Green grocer, caf'e corner, fire department, coming soon.)
  19. by any chance would anybody know what the TRAIN TECH thin means?
  20. wow.... . if I had all my lego peices i could make one maybe. but most are occupied for now becuase of a lego city buildings. but hey. keep up the great work.
  21. I love classic lego train sets but I mean, won't it be annying to have to keep on changing the battery every few hours. why don't you buy a train motor or something that runs on electricity and not batterys. anyway it's not a pain having to change batterys but hey it's your train. Have fun with it oh.. it's a rechargeable.. ok nevermind. but won't you want to have a back or something. cause those power functions take for ever.
  22. I know what you mean. the classic train sets are the best, and the coolest . I like steam engines and Diesel trains, espacially the BNSF
  23. very cool, I have a Market steert. I wish they sold instructions to make that.
  24. but won't the battery to the power function die then you would have to put new ones in. like me I trust my 9 volt motor, to bad i only have one
  25. here's my dude. he's ok . but he is cool
