Garage Sale Find and Some Questions
Milan replied to Guardianmonkey's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hi, Go here: http://www.peeron.com/ and type in your set number. You will see all of the parts that set contains. Go also to the http://www.brickset.com/ to see sets reviews made by varius users. Hope it helped. -
I was clueless Knight, thank you very much! There, I said it...Now I know how to make a poll
-
Too bad, but this is a great place even without it.

Hilarius! Husband was like: SOOOO, thats the way you clean the house while I am at work .....
-
Wow, dint see this one! It looks fantastic. I used to create similar, much simpler, monsters when I was a kid.
-
Thats great. I am glad that you are trying to spread the knowledge of, imo, the best Lego virtual builder. I am using it for a long time, and I am very happy with it. Every model of mine has been pre-built in this program!

If you watched Scrapheap challenge on Discovery you could see bike transformation, to water vessel! Very educative! Better hurry up building it if you want to get here to the Spring! Hmm, you are not of very much use without your R6 , so no swimming! -

Thats better! Try to, maybe, add one shot of the truck in 3/4 perspective. That is the best view for vehicles, I think. -
Are you going to change Avatar to fit your new title? :classic:

Sets are good to analyse the possibilities provided by Lego designers, but if you exactly know what you want to build, I think BL is pretty much the better choice. After I have bought few new sets, I really enjoyed new pieces, but also now I have numerous parts that I have to find the place to storage them, and I know I will never use them. That is why I tend to buy sets- great number of unneeded parts. Also BL is is cheaper IF you know what you need. Creator sets are, as Ralph_S said, really good for me, regarding desired pieces.

Thanks, Shadows! This tutorial is precise and with pictures it is easy to create poll, to newly Knight promoted members!

I would say Cafe Corner. It looks the best, imo. And it is very innovative, too.
-
Welcome, Polina! That is one great review, as I said there to him! I wish you and your boyfriend success in your music band!
-
Damn! And I thought I have a nice and tidy sorted parts... Nice work, man!
-
Haha, this is the best reply. I am THE man, too, but still my fingers hurts sometimes, and I am not afraid to admit it! I will have to order one with next BL order.
-
Haha! So true! I think that is the limitation of which we all have to be aware of I am too old for almost every set

Thanks fellow bike fans, yes today is THE day. We did the payment right now. It is still in friends garage, until I arrange mine. Ohhhh the shape, ohhhh the color, ohhhh the feeling seating on it, ohhhhh the smell of gasoline burning out! Ohhh. True bike fan in me has awaken. No sleeping for me tonight for sure...excitement is too great. As for ride out, I am always for that. We can't do it without Big Cam, so we will have to wait for his floating device TheOtters: ZXR400 was always my dreambike No.1 I am glad that we share same dream! It just looks more beefy and more muscled than most bikes that size. -
This is me two years ago. I am little heavier now (10kg+), but still that handsome . This is the hotel balcony at the summer vacation at Greece. At the picture I am protesting because my friend are all have sunburns and are refusing to go to th beach to avoid more burns. So I took some pot with salty water, put some stones from the water, placed towel and beach umbrella and scuba goggles and sun-cream, all that to create my own beach... All that effort did not help.

I have purchased '94 Kawasaki ZZR 500! I bought it from a friend, he is mechanic, it was really cheap, and I consider it as a one year, next summer ride. I still have Peugeot scooter, which can rest a little bit now. Good thing is that I will probably sell Kawa at the end of year, and if I manage to keep my job, maybe buy something newer...but for now I have a reason to go to the garage and look at it, and maybe sit on it and make 'Vroom' noises at least until is winter Forgive me for being childish, this is my first big bike... -
When I save 1500 USD, I know i wont have to think any more where to spend it
