  1. It is a common problem with motors and the devices that they are powering, when torque is to great, it will brake apart the structure of the MOC, so you have to... Brace it. Can you post a small picture of motor and lift assembly? How is string connected to the lift?
  2. Welcome to EB!
  3. Thanks to all of you! Darth Legolas, I will be glad to assist you in your project
  4. I guess, when you need to build a MOC, you need more specific parts than you have at the moment, and then it is time for BL. How do you order your parts (pieces for one MOC or pieces for more MOCs at once, or you just order approximate number of pieces?), and how much are you ready to spend on a single order? I always try to order for next 2 or more MOCs, to cut expenses, and my single order values are from 20 up to 120usd, most expensive order was about 300usd. Also I am trying to build very precise models in MlCad so I can know precise what parts I need, and then I order 10% more parts, just to be sure. How about you? I do not know if this should go to the B/S/T/F Forum?
  5. Welcome! Hope you will enjoy the forums!
  6. Really useful hardware! I am using that saw for cutting pipes and steel supports in my weekend house, for various purposes... My suggestion is to get those worker some kind of eye protection ASAP!
  7. Looking nice! I like the picture when cannons are up, the third one! Good work!

    MOC: Power Suit

It looks good, I like it. But those orange shields must be really limiting his movements, They seem unpractical...

    Doctor Who

    Excellent! Great details!
  12. By downloading everything from everywhere... especially with the hi speed Internet available. Some sites are regularly filled with hidden viruses, because of their great traffic, like sites with adults content.
  13. If you want to use motors with your current non-Technic Lego parts, then obviously you need axles, few gears and few Technic bricks with holes. As you said, you can choose between large battery box (with 6 AA batteries, 9V or 7.2 with rechargeable batteries), or 50usd small battery box (great, compact and quickly charged, 7,4V). PF sensor is needed if you want for car to be remotely controlled, and you need remote controller-older one (like in your Turbo RC) or newer one (has variable speed dials, models can gradually accelerate, it has 7 speed positions) I wouldn't buy Technic sets just for parts...buying separate parts from Bricklink is much cheaper, if you know what you need... The best idea is to write exactly want you want to create, and then we can work it out in details!
  14. Hello, Welcome and have fun!

  24. Ok, I am little late with the video, just dont have the time for really preparation, but as I am building the next sections of it to work very good, I will use better scene for next videos... As before, this is just a WIP, and backhoe is using new rechargeable battery box... AS you can see in the video, I am still a completely newbie operator, and I will have to learn to operate it better, and use higher speed, from speed remote control. Backhoe can go really low, approx 20 cm bellow the machine itself, I did not want to do this without the outriggers, in next video for sure... YouTube of the Backhoe in action Next video is driving and steering, with 7 speeds remote!
  25. This is really a sensitive theme, and...there will always be discussions about its righteousness. It is completely your choice, but then why is Technicopedia free, if it takes time for creating it??? I think we all know the answer - because you love doing that, and you have your name-Blakbird, which is famous because of the Tchnicopedia, and your name associates to the great site which offers great Technic stuff, and not because you are selling instructions... I know how time consuming making a instructions can be, i have many of them of my models, but only if you want to make it like pro...if you choose to build the instructions in MlCad, it would be much faster and ultimately cheaper, if not free. As I said, I do not mind selling, my vote for this neutral, if you choose to sell it, it is fine for me!
