  1. I don't like the liftarm body on any MOC, but functions are really great. I am very impressed with the outriggers. The rest is ok. Also, it is always nice to see many functions packed in a small package!
  2. Fantastic video! It looks like the blue car has surprisingly good ice performance! Great!
  3. I would not use the aluminium parts, because if I do, I will cross the line of 100% Lego. And if I do, I could use many others custom parts like motors, wheels, RC components, brakes, pneumatics...and then it will become something different than LEGO. There are many other forums with custom RC cars and trucks, which looks and performance great, but this is not for it. After all, building a big MOC using only Lego parts and making it sturdy is one of the finest challenges!
  4. Welcome! Nice introduction! I would like to see that review.
  5. Hello! Have fun posting here!
  6. I think it looks better this way, for sure. I do feel, however, that windshield is too high compared to the rest of the chassis, I mean, I would raise the body of the truck by one or two plate. Not the windshield and roof, just body.
  7. Welcome to the forums! Glad you are out of your dark ages!
  8. I like this truck! It is nice how you have lined up the green/white at the front, considering that front is SNOT,and the rest isn't. I think wheels are not small, as the vehicle needs to be very low to the ground, it is safer that way when they carry heavy equipment.
  9. Hello! Welcome! If your name suggests that you like motorcycles, be sure to check motorcycle topic in Community forum!
  10. Welcome! HERE is a topic with some discussion about word "legos"! Have fun!
  11. That is probably right, as you are not the only one mentioning this.
  12. Beside those tips from Ravi, you should write specifically for what car size you need steering, how wide is it, and what wheels are you gonna use, and are you are going to use parts from sets (what sets?) or you are going to order them from Bricklink. That way you will get much more precise answer!
  13. You obviously didn't hear for Dennis Bosman He makes arguably the best trailers for his trucks.
  14. Ahhh, you beat me to it! Finally, my favorite model in higher res!
  15. Exceptionally nice vehicle. Very slick! But it definitely needs to reduce wheelbase by moving back axle toward the front.
  16. Very cool! I like the big surface of the glasses. Nice and tidy building!
  17. I like how you did the footprints and tracks marks on snow. It add one more dimension to the scene! Nice pictures.
  18. Cool howitzer! Nice details on such small model.
  19. Welcome! Hope to see your work here!
  20. That is my fear, too! Especially if some function needs for few seconds of cylinder extending (heavy lifting the boom or outriggers for example) But cool and simple design!
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. I have a closed glass box (like aquarium) , where I have kept few of my models. It was placed on a shelf and looks nice with model inside. But it was small, now I am building another, bigger one.
  23. Welcome, that is kinda like my story. Have fun with sorting lego!
  24. This may be odd question, Do you keep the motor powered as long as you want for a switch to stay in engaged (left or right) position?
  25. Welcome Technic fan! Technic is one of my favorite themes, too!
