  1. While I don't see myself buying them, I'm glad that this may help reduce the amount that LEGO is gouging us by.
  2. I just tested it and the pieces do clip together, and it spins freely.
  3. I just looked on the old Lugnet forums, and it was used at least as early as September 1998.
  4. It looks like it may be this set: https://brickset.com/sets/8852-1/Robot
  5. Most of my collection, maybe 75%, has bubbles while the rest don't. I did notice that all of them have a slight indentation on the bottom where the molding injection point is. Maybe other brands would be flat?
  6. The bottom looks like a standard 1x2 plate.
  7. So apparently there is a different version of this piece. Today I was building the flower bouquet set and noticed that this part in this set has a different underside and does have clutch power in the center, and also a different part number (81300).
  8. I just tested it on some of my parts and had the same results. It's because the wall of the piece is a little thinner than regular pieces, and has small bumps where it touches the side of the stud for friction. It was probably designed this way to save 0.01 grams of plastic per part.
  9. No, the button does not push all the way in. It sticks out about 1/16th inch.
  10. After you redeem your points for a voucher you should get an email with a code within a few minutes. (be sure to check your junkmail)
  11. It looks like you haven't started the checkout process yet. When you go through the checkout there is a place to put the vip discount code right above the "pay with gift card" field.
  12. Thanks! I tried looking for everything with "alien" in it's name, but I guess a droid wouldn't be in that category. :)
  13. Now I've got one that I can't figure out and it's driving my crazy. I found it in a box of parts at a yard sale, and at first I didn't even think it was LEGO until I looked on the inside of the head and found "©LEGO" and "30311". I can't find anything on Brickset or Bricklink. Any Information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  14. The minifigure comes from this set: 10679 and the other parts come from the general grievous buildable figure: 75112
  15. The $250,000 figure for a mold was specifically for the LEGO games dice piece. The average cost of a mold is closer to only $10,000.
