What licensed themes will end next year?
Imperial Governer replied to legoindy01's topic in LEGO Licensed
Spongebob will PROBABLY be ending next year, because of a special trade between MEGA and LEGO. LEGO wanted the Disney contract, so MEGA made a deal to give the Disney license to LEGO, for the Nickelodeon contract. This means Spongebob construction sets will be made from LEGO. This concludes that LEGO Spongebob will end in 2010. To answer the questions thst legoindy10 asked, *Indiana Jones will not end next year. Lucasfilm has a contract for them for at least 2-3 more years. *Star Wars, sadly , will end in 2011, when the contract with LEGO and Lucasfilm (Star Wars) expires. No word yet if Lucasfilm is renewing it. We should still say "Hello" to Indy sets, but "goodbye" to Spongebob and Star Wars. (I am more saddened by the upcoming loss of the LEGO Star Wars contract then the Spongebob loss of contract. I have not a single Star Wars set in my collection, and hope to get one this year, but I really disliked the Spongebob line). -
Amazingly outstanding!

The Administration by Imperial Governer
Imperial Governer replied to Imperial Governer's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ralph's hook was added on late yesterday, so I will update the picture! I am not considering them Redcoats in this series. I consider it as just a "design"! Oh, and yes, the pirate forces from 1770-1805 are Legoland pirates, not real historical pirates! General Brickington is just a pun-named character in the story, and will never be seen in the upcoming stories! Each of the characters are from American colonies, with French names, because each of their families have French background! Oh, and yes! Does anybody here know how to create Purple Hearts, and apply them to torsos? PM me or comment on this topic of you do! Thanks! -
Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Sets?
Imperial Governer replied to RoflWafls's topic in LEGO Licensed
You're welcome, legoindy01! -
I will soon be writing a letter to the Lego Group in Enfield, CT, asking them to please continue the LEGO Pirates line in 2010. It would be nice if I knew members of Eurobricks also agree with me. Also, I was wondering if anybody else wanted me to incorporate anything in my suggestion letter. Everyone will get full credit for their suggestions in the letter. It would be appriecated if anybody had some good things to say! PM me if you want to be part of the letter!

Imperial Governer replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I am VERY interested! I just need some more information about it before signing up! Thank you! -
Also, if you look at the LEGO Brickmaster Subscription listing at US ShopatHome, you can see that the July-August edition of LEGO Club Magazine will feature Space Police III on the cover.

I have decided to take my Pirate MOC, Port Christian (featured on Mocpages.com), and the Imperial army, and create a MOC called "The Administration". This MOC consists of me using the ideas from my 1888 French Zouaves, and a really administrations, and creating a division of commanders from the 1700s in Legoland. NOTE: The names of the MOC mini-figures featured here are not real, which means none of the MOC mini-figures are based off of real people! I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions! Administration of Port Christian: Governer Napoleon Bonoparte Lefieve` Broadside the 2nd (Born on January 13 1740- Died on December 9 1822) Governer Broadside the 2nd was born to a very wealthy family. His father served as governer from 1697-1713. Napoleon Bonaparte Lefieve Broadside the 2nd led a legacy. A fort is named after him in his own village, Bonoparte, New England. Broadside 2 defeated over 100 pirate forces as governer from 1770-1805. He is known for his casual, plain smiling face, and for his fancy winery taste. Bonoparte died from smallpox in 1822, at age 82. Second in Command Meisure` Lopeis` Keanry the 4th (Born on April 2 1749- Died on February 28 1823) As he prospered from very poor to rich over the years, Commander Meisure` Lopeis` Kearny the 4th always had a gruff and army strong face. Serving as third in command for 9 months, then as 2nd in command from 1771-1805 (ages 22 to 46), Kearny 4 was the youngest in Legoland to become a commander. At age 74, he died from complications of knee surgery. Third in Command Ralph Corneillious Leifeu' (Born on March 4 1721- Died on January 1 1823) The life of 3rd Commander Ralph Leifeu can be sumed up in 2 words: very interesting. Born in knighthood, Leifeu was the 5th son of 13 children in the Leifeu family. Leifeu served in General Brickington's Continential Army. He lost both his left leg and right hand in the Battle of Saratoga, but lived from his injuries. When Ralph was age 60, General Brickington presented Leifeu with 2 Purple Hearts. From 1780-1804 (age 60 to 84), he served as 3rd in command for Governer Broadisde the 2nd. On January 1, 1823, this beloved "Daniel Sickles" died from natural causes at 102, making him the oldest living commander in Legoland history! I hope you enjoyed seeing my newest MOC. My Port Christian MOC is now at Mocpages.com!

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
Imperial Governer replied to Mr. Smee's topic in LEGO Pirates
I am going to purchase the Skull Island- 6279 (from 1995) at Bricklink in the upcoming month. I am so excited because this will be my FIRST Lego set from way back then! I was wondering if anybody could answer a few questions for me about it, if you own it! It would be great! Is the content valuable to the $52 price? Is it an easy build? Is it a very interesting and fun set? Now, I really need some suggestions on another thing. As a true Pirate fan (owning 7 out of 8 2009 Pirate sets, and buying 1989 sets), I am always searching for a good website to buy some old Pirate sets. Bricklink is a great website, but sometimes, prices can be a bit high! Another thing factors, where the product is shipping from! $10 is a good deal for a pack of pirates and Royal Navy Imperials, but I'm in the US and the person selling it is in Germany! By the time I add it to my cart, the whole thing is probably about $40-$55, including the international ship! I was wondering if anybody on Eurobricks knew a good website that sells old fashion Pirate sets/decals/mini-figures/accessoires in the US, and is not on the real pricey side! Thank you for all your help! P.S. Be sure to check out my 1888 French Navy Zouaves MOC!- 502 replies

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Sets?
Imperial Governer replied to RoflWafls's topic in LEGO Licensed
LEGO Group 555 Taylor Road P.O. Box 1310 (optional) Enfield, CT 06083 =) -
Thanks guys for all the kind words! I don't have any Bluecoats in my collection (because I became a LEGO fan 1 and a half years ago), but hope to get some! I will see about using grey hands for the bayo's, and maybe when I get the Skull Island (1995 edition), I can use the torsos from the 2 Imperials to make it more "Zouave" like!

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Sets?
Imperial Governer replied to RoflWafls's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wonderful! I was just going to write to LEGO about having LEGO Pirates in 2010 and re-releasing old Pirate sets, so now, do you want me to incorporate this idea in the letter? I will make sure to say that you, a Eurobrick member, came up with the idea of Staff of Kings sets! -
I got this idea from one of my friends (also a LEGO fan). The 1st idea was how to make bayonets from the musketts in the Pirates sets. The 2nd idea was how to create 1888 French Zouaves from an imperial body and a pirate cap. Well, here is a not-so-centered-well pic of my mini-figure MOC: Now, to compare, here is a picture of a real 1888 French Zouave: Do you think my Lego Zouaves are as detailed as a regular French Zouave? Tell me what you think. ARRGH!

Imperial Trading Post vs Eldorado Fortress
Imperial Governer replied to Piranha's topic in LEGO Pirates
I really think both the Imperial Trading Post and the Eldorado Fortress are great models! But, The Imperial Trading Post is amazing! It is a great set for the time period it was released in!
