Actually, bucaneers started out as hunters on the island of Hispanola (mordern Haiti) after the spanish abonded the colony there. They would use it to cut the wild pig and cow meat into fine strips (Mmm, bacon ) It's part of this series called "Eyewitness". Methinks they were designed for students grades 7-10, but hey! It gives information that wikipedia doesn't have You've been watching too much "Pirates of the Carribean" Governer

Hello Pirate fans I have come into possesion of a book about Pirates (The non LEGO kind ) and it holds many facts about pirates most people might not know. I shall share some with you: 1) The main source of fresh meat for Pirates was sea turtles. They were easy to kill or catch because they are, well... slow. 2) The Knights of Malta were Corsairs (mediterranean privateers) who attacked barbary vessels in North africa. 3) English privateers had to hold a letter of marque or reprisals to be considered actual privateers, and not pirates. 4) Bucaneers are said to have invented the cutlass. It was said to have been origanally used to cut meat. 5) On a successful attack, an average crewman could become filthy rich! But most would spend there fortune on drinking, gambling and woman! 6) French corsairs sometimes through tiny spikes on the enemy ship. And since most sailors were barefoot, it would cause painfull damage :pir-skull: I hope some of these facts might inspire you to pirate MoC glory Edit: New facts 7) Mary Read and Anne Bony were two famous woman pirates. They both served in the crew of "Calico" Jack Racham. 8) Despite the popular-culture depiction of the "Cabin Boy", boys under 16 were not allowed on most pirate ships. 9) Despite the value of spices in Europe, if a pirate crew captured a East-India company ship, they would dump them as they would be hard to sell.

Yes it is, but it is true. They try to hide it, but they love each other. Actually, Ahsoka saw them together, so they shot her up

Have you ever heard or saw something that destroyed your whole oppinion on something? If so, what was it? Last saturday I was at my baby cousins birthday. My aunt is Greek, and here parents were here. Me and her father were discussing philosophy, and he said something every time I changed the subject. These thing were about the end of the world, to sum it up: There is going to be know way to stop the world from ending. That is really making me want to live in the moment

Two very interesting vigs, well done. Only one question, why is one of the corleans a ninja?

I'm pretty sure they just wanted an episode that makes America look great I really didn't like how they mocked canadian inventions! We invented basketball, the polio vaccine, hockey, the arm on the space-shuttle ect. But I do like it when shows make us seem polite, friendly, smart, and peacful
