1. That's what she said! Who would do that to a poor minifigure?! That's pretty cool nonetheless. I agree completely. Hehe... That would be horrible...I don't even want to think about it.
2. Thanks, Inky! Looks good! Maybe it has something to do with 10212? Maybe it's a mini model of that. I hope not though because then that would mean the the shuttle in 10212 would be just a semi-standard shuttle which isn't very interesting... But hey, I missed the first version, so either way it's great!
3. SDCC is like the 22nd of July. That'd be cool to see it at either one, but I'd prefer it to be revealed at SDCC 2010 - seeing that set and final minifigures in person for the first time would be awesome.
4. And now we wait..... .....
5. Here's a pic of it. (Sorry for the large pic) I'm really looking forward to this set!
6. Well here's my Engine Room. I never thought that I would find a use for my two random Turbo Tank wheels. There are four crates filled with supplies underneath the platform. Control platform with stereo, full computer, phone, storage compartment, and guns. The back with access hallway for control platform. Hallway door. Hope you all like it. I had fun. Comments welcome. Brickshelf here (When Moderated) Again, sorry for the poor picture quality.
7. Finally finished uploading. Here's my entry: The Engine Room (Sorry for poor pic quality) I had a lot of fun building this. More pics can be found in the entry thread, and High-res pics here (when moderated). Hope you all like it!
8. Wow. This line sucks! (IMO) It had to be said. Thanks for the great review, however, I must say that I now hate these "sets" even more. Very disappointing for these to bear the LEGO logo. I can't wait for this theme to end so that we can get back to Systemy goodness! (i.e. Star Wars )
9. Hey. Just to let you guys know, I have completed my model, and am just waiting to get my camera up and running so that I can get the pictures and upload them. Shouldn't be too much longer.
10. Hey, I would love to participate in this! Can you sign me up for rooms 5 and 6 on Venator 1 as the engine room? Also, since those are interior rooms, can all four of the walls be light gray? Thanks. - CaptainRex110
11. I'll take some of your dark red... Nice review. I think that I'll be picking this set up.
12. Wow. I went to my local TRU a couple of weeks ago, and when I saw the prices, I almost died. They had all of the new Star Wars sets, and I was planning on buying them, but then I saw, and decided to try my chances at Target (which I finally found 8084, 8087, and 8088 at my Target). Look at these prices!
8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack - $14.99
8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack - $14.99
8085 Freeco Speeder - $39.99
8086 Droid Tri-Fighter - $39.99
8087 TIE Defender - $65.99
8088 ARC-170 Starfighter - $76.99
I couldn't believe it.
13. Oh. Those are new? I thought that those had been seen before, or I would have posted them here before I put them on BS. I got the link on Brickipedia (linked to this site). New sets are lookin' good!
14. Happy to be here. What happens now?
15. I think I'll give this a try.
16. I just found this neat little set at my local Toys-R-Us today for US $9.99. (Please excuse the quality of this review, I have never done one before. Also, there's no pictures of the pieces in the bags or of the sicker sheet (there were only four tiny stickers anyway) because I took the pictures after I built it. Please leave comments below so I know what to do differently next time. ) Basic Information Name: Fire Blaster Item #: 8188 Pieces: 67 Minifigs: 2 Released: 2009/2010 Theme: Power Miners The Review More pictures can be found at Flickr. The front of the box shows off the set along with the new miner and Lava Monster. The back shows the basic functions including the usual flick-fire missile....with dynamite and the miner's new visor. And the instruction booklet. A random building step. The pieces inventory. The page showing off all of the new Lava Monsters. I'm really liking the new monsters and the new head molds, but I am really looking forward to Eruptorr and all the new fire pieces. The ad for 8189. And for the new Lego movie. Although this is not really important, I figured that I would show it because they finally changed the ad on the back for the survey after I don't even know how many years. I like the old design for it better. Here are the minifigures included. I really like the new silver miner (Rex) and the way the theme has been evolving. However, obviously, my favorite part is Combustix. He is just awesome! But, LEGO really cheaped-out with the crystal. I mean really? Would it have been that hard to make it match him??? Rex. With visor down. And detached. Combustix (which he does have black printing on the sides of his head as well as the eyes.) Finally, on to the set. Here we have to completed set from every angle. In action. Extra pieces. Result Design: 9/10 I really like the design of this vehicle. It really uses the small amount of parts well. Parts: 8/10 Pretty good for all parts, and you get the new water tank piece and the always welcome dynamite. Build: 8/10 It's a built. It's short and to the point. Minifigures: 10/10 Maybe it's just me - I love the new minifigures. I think that they are just amazing. Price: 8/10 Not very many pieces for the price, but still not that bad. Playability: 8/10 I think it fits well with the other PM sets and adds a new level of play it the theme. Total: 51/60 A nice little set. I tend to really like Power Miners sets, especially the new ones, but I think that all in all, it's a pretty neat little set and had great minifigures. It's also only $10. I recommend picking one up when they are more widely available. Thanks for reading!
17. No. However, they should be showing up soon. The story is that this person on Brickipedia found this set for sale on TRU's site for a short time and bought it before it was removed, and it arrived yesterday (10/31).
18. Hey, check out what I found on Brickipedia: [Warning: very large images] http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/lego/ima...e1/IMG_3980.JPG http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/lego/ima...d9/IMG_3975.JPG Awesome new monsters...
19. I don't trust 8192 and up. And also, I try to keep Brickipedia up-to-date with true information, but sometimes it's really hard... However, it sounds similar to the first time when 8188-8191 were translated to English from some other language and have since been changed to their respective final names. There's a chance that some of them may be real, it's just, why the big increase in number of sets from the first wave? Just my thoughts.
20. I think of the Landspeeder. But I don't know for sure...
21. Same here. Also, can someone post a link to this removed picture? I can't find it!
22. What about the Landspeeder? And in the August wave there's the Wampa Attack and Slave I.
23. Yeah, but look at the pieces count for $20...
24. BREAKING NEWS! Found these on Amazon.com!
25. My favorite would have to be the 7679 Republic Fighter Tank. I just love that thing! I also like the 7676 RAG too. But the fighter tank is just amazing.
