Last year, I purchased a 20-30 pound mixed lego lot for $100 from a fellow Urban Vinyl Art collector on another forum. He gave a couple quick pictures, didn't see too much but some cool older sets. When I got the package to my surprise was a complete classic ninja green set complete, a rare mcdonalds drive through set, and some larger sets from Adventurers (the Egyptian series). Had several other space, city, and other random sets. I kept the ones I wanted, bought missing pieces on brick link, and sold most of the ones off. From all that I sold, it was close to $400

Just got back from Toys R Us from Orlando, FL USA. Browsing around hoping to find new release sets, and behold! They had three boxes of Ninjago Booster Packs. They were set up like the collectable minifgures box. One box for each character. Of couse I bought all three plus one extra Kendo Cole.. They were going for $5.99 each, seems a bit pricey, could be Toys R Us' mark up, but whatever, didn't mind paying for having something no one else had out at the time. So these were booster packs, meaning you can mod your spinners for Ninjago. You can add chains and blades that to the spinners and I guess armor type stuff. Not really into the spinner concept (of course it being for the younger crowd). I was really in it for new characters. Well enough explaining.. here are pictures.. and also in the instruction fold out, it had some pictures of new sets besides the other Ninjago sets with vehicles. Exciting! Didnt understand the reason for a 'Lloyd Garmadon' until I realized it was Lord Garmadon's son possibly? I saw the shorter legs and I was like oooooh I get it now.

awesome, my nearby target just put a box out in the Halloween aisle, they had a fresh box of 60 out, was tempted to buy the whole box, but instead just picked up the last minifigure to complete Series 2 and grabbed about 4 Spartans =)

I'm with ya! Been searching at TRUs, Walmarts, Targets, etc, have not seen one place that carries them here in Orlando, except! Urban Outfitters had series 1 for $5 each, which i refuse to buy there

Awesome! My co-worker got his hands on a semi-early release of the 8169 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. He said it sold out in 2hours at the Orlando, FL Lego Store. So excited after work and came home and started the build. I was especially excited because its the same scale as the other Ferrari vehicles. This set definitely has a lot more detailed compared to the counter Ferrari sets. Opening doors, better interior detail, better shaping, etc. The price is a little steeper, I think by $10? Not sure, I think the previous Ferraris were $49.99, but the new Lamborghini set being $59.99. I definitely had to get this set, being that Lamborghini is one of my top known named exotic car manufacturer. The major con of this set is the stickers. They're great stickers, but they definitely could have made printed parts instead, especially with the headlights. I didnt like how it took 2 separate stickers to make one headlight, but I guess they didnt really figure out how to make the top of the fender flush. Loved the new black matte wheels which were for the specific model. Some unique pieces, my favorite has to be the 1x2 slopes. Thats definitely new to me, never really seen it in any other sets yet. My favorite detail of the car Extra left over parts, haven't got the chance to build the Spyder version. Ketchup Ferrari or Mustard Lamborghini? Conclusion: Price $59.99 - 9 of 10 Parts 741 - 10 of 10 Build - 9 of 10 Overall - 9.5 of 10 741 pieces for $60, some new pieces (or at least to me). Took about 2.5 hours to build considering I stopped to take pictures. Would definitely buy another set to store away for collective purposes. Lego definitely upped it from the previous Ferrari sets, hopefully they make the Murcielago in the next wave.

Still awaiting for the release of Fallingwater (Which is in July). But in the meantime! I got to pick up 2 sets from Adam Tucker, one for safekeeping, and the other to open up and display. Front & Rear pictures of the box (Signed) 208 Pieces into four bags. Instructions is a little thicker than the previous instructions from the other Architecture sets. Unfortunately, mine came with a small little tear at the bottom on the cover page. The build didn't take long, there were some piece placements that I wouldn't have thought of, but nothing very special. No new parts except for the re-introduction of the 3x3 Rounded Corner Plate in white. The only other set that this specific color piece was included in was the UCS Star Wars Rebel Blockade Runner. So if you're the type of collector who can't justify paying $40 for this set, and want to buy piece by piece, you're probably going to run into some expensive obstacles. The last time I saw on bricklink, someone had the piece listed at $2.49 (and the set requires 5 of them) But obviously, this set is for the collector and architect lover. I have no problem paying for these low count pieces for extra cash, I love the series, I'll continue buying all of them, and the box art is just so sleek. One problem I had with the build was the tan building consisting of 1x2 bricks and 1x10/1x8 tan plates. I expected it to use 2x10 and 2x8 tan plates to make up the building, but instead two 1x10 tan plates parallel to each other were used to make up one plank. The problem with that, no matter how many times I re-aligned the bricks, it would eventually set crooked, so I may order 2x wide tan plates to replace them later on. And of course with the other 4 sets. If you're wondering about the black tiles with the printed building names on them, I store those away in clean zip loc type poly bags. Just like to keep those clean and new. The Build 8/10 - Could have been a little bit more detailed The Pieces 7/10 - No new pieces, just a lot of 1x2 tan bricks, and the 3x3 Rounded Corner Plates in white. The Value - 7/10 - Obviously a collector's set, $39.99 is a little steep, but thats how the entire Architecture series will be. Overall - I'd say a solid 7.0 Now I can't just wait for the next set, I'm afraid the 21005 Fallingwater Set will be very pricey. The piece count is at 801pcs, but mainly a bunch of narrow plates, but we'll see.

I love the Architecture series. I have 2 sets of the first four sets, Sears Tower, John Hancock Center, Empire State Building, & the Space Needle. I also have 2 sets (One signed by Adam Tucker, and one unsigned) coming in the mail, should be here within the week. Can't wait for the new editions. And speaking to Adam briefly, he said that Fallingwater would be released in July and has a piece count of 811. Some new pictures in the meantime:
