I understand what they tried to achieve with those long sloped bricks but it looks a bit weird. It might turn out better in person. I'll most likely get this one.

I'm positively surprised about stickers on mudguards instead of prints. One can customize it by either applying them or not but more importantly they can be used for MOCs. Overall seems like nice dark blue parts pack.

Certain cars shouldn't be made in technic at this scale. It is as ugly as 42093 and it doesn't resemble real one.

And if you want bigger res then open picture in a new window and change last 3 parameters in URL to something like this &quality=100&width=8200&height=8200&dpr=1

Not really upscaling. There's video about making of that clip where directors state that they had to frame it in a way it looked like both were to scale.

It might be good and cheap parts pack once people start selling it without electronics. Car itself looks nice imo.

Above link doesn't list any CV joints or steering links so we might be really getting something new in that regard (since for 42209 Volvo Loader double 5L joint is listed)

Oh man, I find this whole year lineup to be really good. There's a lot of useful recolored/new parts, sets are looking great. Choosing what to get will be hard this time

Thanks :) Although I can't take credit for panel ideas as it seems rather common to put one under front windshield. I'm glad rear one fitted so well without basically any modifications to the structure - I left it for the very end of design as I was trying to figure what to do there :)

42154 Ford GT - Hot Rod (Large category)

So I had this idea for an alt out of an amazing Ford GT set for a while now but not enough time to sit on it. Then Christmas magic happend aka holiday break and this is the result :) I was aiming for somewhat old school look with some modern, sporty additions in form of rear wing and rectangular lights.
