Thanks for the review, I wanted to see a decent review of this set. 2 decent minifigs, a bike, a surfboard and a cool vehicle, what more could you want from a small set like this.

I got the 7993 Service Station and 6241 Loot Island today.

I only have yellow figures I think, if you don't count some space robots or trolls. But I really don't care that much, the themes with fleshies give a nice opportunity for racial diversity what classical yellow lacks.

I'm visiting Vienna and I got the two SP3 impulses and some road plates a few days ago. Wasn't the best store, didn't find anything new except the two SP3 impulses. Perhaps I'll have better luck some other day.

Thanks for the nice and detailed review! Yeah, it seems like Lego City is living in the past. The City Mini-Figure Collection has a tape stereo and this set has a phone booth. Haven't seen those things used for quite a while now.

Wow, this is rather impressive.

Knives are another idea you could think about but I think those would be too short. Of the given choises I would go with "A", same reasons that Captain Green Hair pointed out.

When I saw the topic I instantly thought of the StarCraft Battlecruisers. Nice to see a similar design, although I was waiting for a bit bigger ship, this seems to be more of a fighter than cruiser. But that doesn't ruin the ship, it looks awesome.

Awesome lighthouse you've got there. I spotted something that I find a bit weird though - the fence piece in front of the ladder. It would make using that ladder rather difficult. How high is it?

I like this set, a bit expensive though. Probably going to pick it up anyway if it ever gets here.

Most of the bigger themes seem to be alive, like Space, Castle, Town/City and Pirates. Choosing from subthemes is a bit hard, so many of them I would like to get my hands on. A modernized Paradisa would be really awesome. I really can't choose from all the possibilities. Perhaps this Legends idea what svelte_corps suggested would be the best for me.

Stuff like this really make my days better. It feels like I could look at the pictures and find something new and interesting every time

When I first saw it I thought about the Imperial Shuttle also. I must say that it is awesome in so many ways.

Yeah, I want some of those, would be useful for Blacktron II creations. There seem to be quite a few slopes also. Probably the only Power Miners set I would even think about buying though.

Compared to the original Blacktron II ships, actually most Lego starships, this looks like it could really take a beating. Great work!

Well kinda... It was given to me by my friends back in 1997 or so. When I started using the name soon after that I had no idea how to really spell it and I used a "y" instead of a "i" as the last letter

Hello, I'm yoshy, I'm 22 and I'm from Estonia. After visiting this site for the past few months I decided to register and this seems like the right place for a first post. Obviously I am a fan of Lego, no favourite theme though. Before my so called dark ages, that began about 10 years ago, I probably liked the space theme the most. Now that I have started buying new sets since December I can't say that anymore. Most of the newer sets are really nice. I've already had a great time browsing this forum so thanks for making it worth reading.
