Nice! I like the new helmet very much. Atleast the Lions get one in the 7949 set.
-
I don't know if this been mention earlier, but a McDonald's or a Starbucks would sell like there's no tomorrow.
-
I'm also been waiting for this! Just add four floors more and it will look like a skyscraper! But please remove the flags from the middle floors!

I destroyed my CC to testbuild differn't MOCs. I have now rebulit it and saving for some other buildings to build a city. Until then I keep CC in a dustprotected plastic box so it will stay mint even if it's nuclear war. Sometimes I unpack my CC and other Lego, like last week when I took this photo: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UCJfkEWzL6o/S5H-...-h/4833_big.jpg

I know! First of all - I like trams. But in Lego citys they would end up being regular trains or suburbian trains since we don't have no wide streets (if we don't put two streets togheter and have a perfect middle area for Trams) but most people don't have that space. And I do believe elevated trains attract kids more. Remember, this is no exclusive set. GIVE US SOME PICTURES!
-
But there's no room for tram tracks in Lego streets. And if the use Doom tracks wouldn't it ending up be too similar trains, especially the new red one already looking like a big Tram? I hope for an elevated train! A monorail..But I'm only hoping and guessing as usuaul.

The voting was after the 10184 release. So they planned a new city square. I wouldn't pay much attention to the drawings since they only are rough sketch. As a mather of fact I think the 7641 was done already too since it got released just after the voting.
-
Damn! Don't you dare reply if you don't have a picture of the 8404. Got it?!
-
Let's hope for a remake. I don't like the Doom track. Especially not the slopes. But perhaps it comes with other slopes for larger trains...whatever we get this is exciting!

K-D: With "Could you email me the picture" I meant what you supposed to said to the kind woman at Lego. The poll picture is old, perhaps she got a more updated. About the price. It could be very small station and a bus. Threre is not much parts in the stations in the Airport Shuttle 6399. But I'm no good in Legoprices. I will stop guess now and wait.
-
I don't think they release a Tram without any track. I guess for an elevated train based on the monorail standard. Then you have both street level and skylevel. It seem logic since LEGO going back to their roots lately. But who knows! We have to wait and see. K-D Next time: -Could you email the picture, please?

Yes, Fire Brigades in real world perhaps have differen't construction than other buildings, but they are not out of scale. Just imagine to add a third floor on FB and you will see how silly it looks compare to the other buildings. Ofcourse with Lego you can mod and build whatever you want. But if I buy a model I'm looking for a certain quality, not ending up totally rebuilt it because it's having bad design. And that's why I dind't buy FB. But I like GE and I hope the serie will continue shine like the last building.
-
The sets can have how many floors they want. Variation is good. But Fire Brigade looks out of scale compare with the others. And I think it's very fair to judge them put togheter. Because that's what the sets are meant to be.
-
Yes, just look at it! With two floors it should be smaller in both height and width to look good. But I'm having hope in the line. GE looks good.
-
What Fire Brigade? Aa, you mean the Fire "out of scale" Brigade! I love GE thou. And I just can't wait until someone makes it a skyskraper. It will look like the flat Iron Building! GE will be my second modular building after CC. The only two looking good enough so far!

In the City Corner I believe it is the bus that attract both kids and adult most. The buildings is just a bonus. I'm sure if a moving sub-train appear in the same set as a bus, kids won't leave the store without it. Same for an AFOL.
-
Word. Thru Legos history it's infact more common than don't. Humans tend to want/buy several similar items since we like to collect stuff. :) Kids (and AFOL) like buses so one more bus is no wild guess. Particularly since they invented that new bus window. A public transportation also give Lego a better environment profile bringing balance to all the trucks they release.
-
I think it's time for a new monorial! People pay overprices for the old ones. Lego must know that. Now, with doors on cars and great houses it will be the total reclaim of City theme for Lego - back stronger then ever.
-
I'm pretty sure the voting was after the Town Plan release. Or? Anyway I remember the subburb-train/busstop as the coolest suggestion. I imagine it something like the Lego Airport Shuttle 6399.
-
I remember voted! I clicked on the picture to read more about it and then ended up voting on the truckstop by misstake Perhaps more made that misstake? Now we will get another truck set instead of an exiting monorail or town square!

Interesting! I was thinking about this yesterday. I like the new standard doors with frame. It's easy to change them from left to right opening, making double doors and change colours. They are also more realistic because of the frame. Best thing is that you now can put flat bricks in front of doors and they will still be able to open.

It's a wonderful ship! When I was a kid I couldn't understand how that little blue two stud in the lock mechanism could hold the ship together when you fly with it. And I still don't get it..

1. How do you know it's a family? Perhaps the skateboarder just passing by? Perhaps the man lighting the grill just to hit on the girl because he know she take the same route everyday. Use your imagination and everything will be fine! (just like children do, Legos primary target group) If you want another girl in the house just add one. If she will fit - the house is not that big. 2. And don't you think we have enough brillant suburbian houses with the Creator? 3. I love everything about the house!

Very nice! Design is often "less is more" and you nalied it! But I feel the corner is a little to empty, perhaps som more ornament there and it will be perfect. Edit: And perhaps a basment window in one place to make the building not to monotonous. Keep it up!

Cool! Thanks! But..chandelier is upside down!
