[MOC] The Penguin's Homing Spider Droid MOD. )
Mraz Skintas replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice MOD, but the legs look a little too tall. If you shorten them a tad bit, then it will be perfect. The droids on the other hand are absolutely beautiful. May I ask where you buy your paints from, because I would love to make some of these as well as the gunner you posted in your MTT MOC? -
What's with all of the Tusken Raider popularity lately? I think I'm gonna make a Tusken avatar now. On topic: Let's get this straight. A psycho is standing atop a hill in Tatooine. He hates everything, so he chunks rocks at them, and hangs them and whatnot? It's and interesting MOC - all the blood and the noose. Kinda morbid really. Good job.

That would be my last resort. But I was more wondering if LEGO was sold at major Korean retail stores, whatever those may be.

I prefer the Fleshies. I collect mostly Star Wars nowadays, and since 2004(?) they have been in the sets. Originally the only racially correct fig was Lando, and I wanted more Black people. Yellow Jedi really aren't that cool. Now there are a few more Black people heads (not counting those strange NBA people) and they are also introducing rather Asian/ Middle Eastern people with the new Indy sets. It seems to me that flesh figs are better because of the variety offered. I think that if and after the LEGO Star Wars license ends in 2011, they should re-release all of the sets with flesh figs.

I'm pretty sure that this belongs here, if not, a MOD is more than welcome to move it. In a few months I will be making my last move with my family. We will be PCSing (permanent change of station, or something like that) to South Korea. I was wondering if anyone here knew if LEGO is available there, or if I have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping by buying everything from Ebay or Bricklink or the like. I e-mailed LEGO, but those e-mails usually take a few weeks to be replied to. Thanks in advance for the one who knows.

This news itself is on this site more than anything Too bad all but the Y-Wing and Endor aren't being shipped until July 16.

I went out to Toys R Us today in pursuit of the new Star Wars sets. No luck I decided just to grab a couple Clone Battle Packs and hold out until the family trip to Dallas around my birthday next month when the sets are out. The Clone Battle Packs are still great little sets though.

Wow, LEGO prices really seemed to have skyrocketed over the last few years. I mean really, 25 USD for just over 150 pieces? Yeah I realize that there are new molds, but sheesh. At least the two that I want will ship just a few days before my birthday, so I'm happy with that. BUt why is LEGO waiting so late after they put them up to ship them?

I like the door design, but for since this is a Star Wars MOC, I would have used a sliding door design such as the one in 7666 Hoth Rebel Base. The Mess Hall is nice too. I assume you are going add tables. Good work, and I can't wait to see some more pics. (I'm not rushing you though)

Nice comic. I never new Clones used such language. Ok, maybe I did. It looks like he uses Comic Life. It's a program on most Macs, not sure about Windows computers though.

Not to be rude, but you said tonight or tomorrow almost ten days ago. You also said you didn't get them up because you were playing GTA? I want to see these, so please make haste with the uploading.

My friend told me this a few minutes ago actually, and I saw the Farrah Fawcett news as well. R.I.P, your music will always be in our souls.

Minifig Customization Workshop Contest
Mraz Skintas replied to LuxorV's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Isn't Mystery Science theater a TV show or something like that. If so, then no, sorry. Your entry has to be entirely made up. You can make a bunch of Minifigs and put them in one entry, one however, has to be the main entry. Hope that cleared things up for you. -
You've captured the major scenes of this episode very well in this little Diorama. As Jammiedodger714 said, you should make the eel a little bigger. Try using the round pieces that are four by four. (Sorry I can't find it on bricklink)

I just see a bunch of boxes with blue ?s

I think you should place the AT-AT outside of the base, around the back. You should also put armed guards around it as well. Regardless of how you do it, I think you should add the AT-AT somewhere around the base.

That will be a pretty big project. He will probably put his Fig scale AT-AT in there, and I think he had some AT-STs two. I can't wait to see some pics of your progress in the future.

Out of era call of duty game idea thread
Mraz Skintas replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Culture & Multimedia
That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. That also got me thinking about other COD games based off of Sci-fi titles. I could make a whole page on a Halo COD, but would rather not..... But a Clone Wars COD, or even Rebellion Era COD would be tons of fun. Especially if you could play as either side of the conflict, as only playing as the good guys gets boring after a while. A COD game that fits in with the already existing ones where there are two campaigns - one for each side, would be good. The Multiplayer would have AATs and TX-130s' for the Clone Wars Era and AAC Hovertanks and AT-STs for the Rebellion Era. Since it would be a COD game, it could be more violent than most Star Wars titles out there (I.E. limbs coming off and blood as well) As far fetched as this sounds, it could be really good, or a total flop. -
I edited the first post with pics and a backstory for the specific fig as well.

Interesting topic, but I don't think that the not serious part was necessary. That would probably just end up turning this topic into a 'Navy Seal versus Care Bears and My Little Pony topic. The War of 1812, American Civil War, WWI, or something futuristic (more so than 2011) -

Sorry to bump a relatively old topic, but I got my new GI magazine and would just like to let those of you who don't already, know that there will be no more large text boxes. The game will be fully voiced. So it will be more like Mass Effect. I also like to point out that alot of the vehicles and characters/ armour variants, look like things from the OT and PT. There is a standard trooper that has armour that looks very similar to the Phase 2 Clone Armour/ Stormtrooper Armour. There is a smuggler that looks like Atton Rand, Carth Onasi and Han Solo were all pancaked by a Star Destroyer. In one of the pictures there is a walker that looks like the AT-TE. So it seems to me like all of the things from the OT and PT have predecessors we didn't know about.

Hmmm, so I have to edit my decals? It is a different version of my (Human) Sigfigs head. I read the edit in the rules and assumed I was the case, so I would like for the theme name to be changed from 'Space Marines' to 'Space Force Troopers.'

I am not the one who asked the question, FiletOFish did.
