  1. No. That'd be a nice vehicle to have, but I think a minifig scale version of that car would be a bit larger than a Brickmaster set usually is. The potential set I was thinking of would be quite small, and it's from a different movie altogether. I doubt they'll go so far as to do any sets from Indy adventures outside the movies, but I'd love to see it happen. My personal first choices would be from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, actually, but I'd also love to see sets from the novels, comics and games. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis would make some great sets, I'm sure...
  2. I did hear about the Mutt Motorcycle Chase that was rumored / leaked, and with the other sets that were rumored / leaked with it all having proven true, I'm inclined to think the Motorcycle Chase (from KotCS, as opposed to the one from LC, already depicted in the launch wave) will indeed be the vendor exclusive, but we'll just have to see. The possibility I think I'm dreaming for most isn't a large retailer exclusive, actually, but rather a second small exclusive set for Brickmaster subscribers, like set 20004 ("Indy's Jungle Cruiser," I believe) from last year. There's actually something very specific I'd like to see done as a Brickmaster set, and it would be a perfect complement to one of the sets being released later this year, though it could also be offered later at some point. I'm not sure I want to say what it is, just in case of the extremely remote possibility TLC is actually considering doing it but doesn't want to see any public "suggestions / requests" for it for legal reasons.
  3. Wow! That's an amazing number for a someone who started less than a year ago, or at least it seems to me. Is that counting minifigs you still have from your childhood, or have you simply gotten that many figs? Interesting that you also know your AFOL anniversary date - is that the date you bought your first new LEGO set in years, the date you first pulled out your old bricks after years of storing them away, or what? ________________________ As for me, my Peeron set lis says I have 779 minifigs. I'm not sure how accurate that is; I think I may have one more copy apiece of certain sets than I've logged, and I also know I have a few figs from special items that aren't logged at all because Peeron doesn't have those items in its inventory (the Vintage Minifigure Collection Vol. 1, for example). I also have a partial skeleton on its way to me from LEGO Shop at Home's Pick-A-Brick, and when it arrives it'll be combined with other bits I have to make one more full skeleton. Finally, I also don't know how many of the things that might be counted as figures aren't listed as such in my Peeron list - the little robot with minifig legs in the Alpha Team Bomb Squad, for example - or whether I should count those myself.
  4. Hi! I guess I should offer a few words to introduce myself... After occasionally following a link to this site from something posted elsewhere, and recently noticing what a great community this seems to be, I've decided to register as a member. I already frequent a lot of other online forums, so I don't know how frequently I'll be here, but I'd like to play at least some small part in this community. I hope I can contribute as much of value as I take from it. I'm an AFOL (naturally) who first discovered LEGO as a kid in the early / mid-'70s, enjoyed it until some point in the early / mid-'80s and then entered "the dark ages;" though I did get a few tiny LEGO sets through a Kellogg's promotion in the early '90s, I didn't really get back into LEGO until the Star Wars line pulled me back in the early 2000s. Since then I've acquired an awful lot more bricks than I ever had as a kid, and occasionally I even have time to build with them (though I'm still working on making enough room for all the models I'd like). My chief LEGO interests these days are Star Wars and Indiana Jones (I pretty much grew up on George Lucas movies - to the extent that I can be said to have grown up, anyway), but I also am quite fond of other themes, particularly classic Space. Alas, I no longer have any of the classic Space or Trains (blue rail era) that I had back in the day, but I do have a lot of other cool stuff, and I hope one day when circumstance permits I can pick up some of the old classics I remember and miss so much. Naturally I dig Pirates, Adventurers, Castle and so on, but recently I've found myself particularly interested in Town/City, and look forward to one day building a large cityscape. I'm an American, currently living in Tallahassee, Florida, but when younger I lived in various other parts of the US and in Europe (dad was in the military, and our family moved around a lot). I have a boring job (that doesn't pay nearly enough for a LEGO enthusiast!), but I hope to one day return to grad school and finish my studies in anthropology and pursue that for a career. Aside from playing with LEGO I love watching movies and enjoy playing board games (and don't have enough time or money for any one of these pursuits, let alone all of them!).
