What's so special about 2011 that KimT and you tease us with ??? You can't have seen prelim pics of set, it's far too early IMHO. But you have seen something for sure. Some set names ? Can we have a hint ?

Can you recall if there is a snowspeeder included in the wampa set ? And which set Cad Bane is in ?

Black pauldrons are for enlisted, white for corporals and orange for officers... Lego is simply giving us bunch of sandtroopers officers since years... So I'm pretty happy about this one, even if I don't use that kind of pauldrons anymore... thanks to brickforge Here's a pic for you

How can I get rid of a lego pattern...
Seijitai replied to Seijitai's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
The friend told me he used it on his plastic figurines. He told me to avoid brake cleaning fluid as it destroy plastic, but insisted that standard brake fluid might work... The problem is that here in Belgium, you can't have access to liquid Brasso, there is no bottle of it for sale, just a form of "cloth" dipped in a Brasso solution (to clean spoons and so). That cloth being easily torn apart, I'm sure it won't resist cleaning the studs area (I even torn it apart while brasso-ing a lego head) I'm gonna give a shot on an old baseplate I have and will post the results Thanks for the help Saint ! -
The same for me... but I won't complaint too much... As I'm going to buy several of most of these sets, it will already kill my wallet for 3 months... Maybe lego's planning again a surprise like the AT-OT/Carrier from Toyfair 09'... Nobody saw it coming, and it's was a 250€ sets, glups ! Regarding the sets, I'm impatient to see the Hoth rebel pack with Zev (a new pattern rebel pilot helmet is always welcome). And I'm almost sure that the new tie fighter pilot will share the same helmet than the AT-AT driver...

How can I get rid of a lego pattern...
Seijitai replied to Seijitai's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hey thanks for the tip, didn't knew that one. Too bad I can't have access to 2 or 3 liters of Brasso to put that baseplate in a bath... Any other tips gentlemen ? EDIT : a friend of mine told me to use brake fluid... He use that to remove paint from Warhammer plactic figurines using that ? Anybody knows that tip and does it work on Lego printed patterns ? -
Hello to all ! As the title says, I would like to get rid of the rocks and grass patterns Lego applied on this baseplate : http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30271pb01 I already know (and use...) the brasso technic on small parts and so, but I simply don't see myself applying this on such a large scale... Karcher technic don't seems to be the good one either... Last time I used a karcher to clean a baseplate, I had to ask my neighbour to retrieve it from his garden, 15 meters aways from it's original location... So any ideas would help !

I'm confused as well... Didn't Brickcon occured last week-end ? If so, I saw a few photos from the Pirates' Imperial Flagship, Prince of Persia and Toy Story minifigs, but nothing related to Lego Star wars... Or somebody is hidding the photos ?

Great new items, really well done ! I just have one question regarding the "Waist Armor" & "Gunbelt"... Does a Katana fits well in it ? My samurais would appreciate to carry their deadly swords that way
-
Great work Hopeso ! Poor small IG, he had no luck... You know what I would like to see realized by you ? A Tactical droid ! http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tactical_droid Would like to see how it would look after Hopeso's touch !

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Seijitai replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have eight. 4 purchased from Bricklink, and 4 from two "8038 Battle of Endor" sets. I prefer the newer version, with the dark bluish gray pattern, to the old one (dark gray). I also switched the legs and arms in black, more realistic IMO... -
French Amazon site lists all the new sets as "out of stocks", other sites like Emoviezone lists them too as "soon", and a friend of mine spotted them in a HK toys store... Too many different sources IMO, so I really think that we are about to get those six sets released at the beginning of june, at least in Europe... I've mailed the customer service about that, will post their answer if they confirm...

Hi Hendrik, if you bought the Y-Wing Bomber, can you let us know if it have a new R2-D2 ? If so, can you take a pic of it ?

[Comic] Episode 6 of the 313th's Clone Wars
Seijitai replied to Zepher's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
I'm impatient to read it ! I really like the way you're doing it, and the FX you put in it ! -
I agree with you. I had the luck to have a german customizer, Rurisk, to paint me a few of my old ewoks (4 - tan, brown, light bley and black), along other minifigs, but I'm not good at painting myself (picasso syndrome ). So for people without painting skills, they definitely worth the price of the set !
-
He he, it's me ! Like I said on page 237, I was quite lucky to get my hands on this I'm busy this week-end, but I'll try to post a review as soon as possible... While waiting, check this two pics : The new rebel commandos helmet is fantastic ! I'm just a little bit disappointed that the backpack is simply brick built. The ewoks face details are quite good, but the hood looks like a bit "empty". The tan Ewok is of course the old model, but painted... To answer another question, bags numbered "1" contains the pieces for the speeder bikes, catapult, flying thing... Bags numbered "2" is for the AT-ST and "3" for the bunker.
-
Nope, the only thing that I can say is that I could have also ordered these... So I can only guess... As I had to "pre-pay" the order, I only took one "Battle of Endor"... I'll see in a week if I receive it, as the seller promised... Now I won't talk of it anymore, I'm not going to disobey KimT on my first day here !
