  1. I'd read about that too. Apparently he's topless with two swords as weapons. Still, I'm waiting for an official confirmation! Also, awesome vehicles! I love them =D Hooray for the Ice Cream Truck haha. -- Andrex
  2. The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters by GW Dahlquist. An eccentric, elaborate and wonderfully crafted steampunk novel full of mystery, suspense, drama and fantasy. Oh and it's quite erotic, but that is not its primary purpose! I'm loving it! -- Andrex
  3. I'm loving that Joker costume! Also, I actually look forward to the vehicle levels. They look very fun =). As for launch, I'm in the UK so I'll be getting it a while after America. Looks like I'll be avoiding spoilers, especially since the levels are all original this time around. Not long now anyway! -- Andrex
  4. I'd very much like to read that review. Anyway, I think you guys have all been overlooking something . Click the link beneath the image my lovelies, and all shall be unveiled! Well, for one new character at least! Hush my child =P Also, new trailer much? Lego Batman: Vehicles Trailer A ton of new vehicle images can also be found here! Hyped? Finally, for those buying the Wii version, a nice little preview pour vous over here. Tons to discuss it seems! I for one can't wait to play this on my PSP. So much content, and handheld! -- Andrex
  5. Then so our prayers collide! I may have run out of space in my room, but this set sounds like a must have, and it may well be the last one I'll ever buy! May the best man win . -- Andrex
  6. Oh no, I agree with you entirely. I'm an OT fan myself, and I'm not so keen on all of the Jedi. I like the diversity of characters, not just loads of people with lightsabers, as awesome as they are. Mon Calamari would have been awesome =(. Still, the Falcon sounds brilliant. I'd want it to come with all the regulars, plus a few new characters. Considering I don't have a Falcon already, it'd be an essential purchase. I've not really bought a Lego Star Wars set since.. well.. it may well have been years! I've been saving my money for other things. If this catches my eye, I may well grab it ^^ providing the price is right. -- Andrex
  7. Yea it's a shame about the Palpatine Arrest having so few minifigures. I hope the set itself makes up for the unoriginal character choices. The Hoth and Endor play sets sound brilliant, I hope they turn out to be real. As for the Millenium Falcon, that sounds great to me. Only because I never managed to grab one in the past ^^'. 10 minifigures sounds great to me, especially after the high price of the UCS one released previously. Plus as much as I adore the Death Star play set, I simply cannot afford it. I'm still in need of figs of all the main characters from the OT, with Luke, Han, Leia and Chewbacca. This could be my opportunity to grab them! Republic Star Destroyer..? Meh. I'm not really a PT fan, bring on the OT sets! I look forward to seeing the minifigs though. -- Andrex
  8. Count me in my dears Good luck people, this is a great idea. Perhaps luck will be with me this time! -- Andrex
  9. How adorable! That's no thimble D= it's a fully operational battle station!
  10. At first I thought them repulsive. Yet whilst there may be very minimal Lego floating around in that case, I quite like these. I know they're not genuinely minifigs, but at least they look like their in game counterparts. Admittedly the game was based upon actual minifigs, but ah well. These figures can do things that the video game characters can and the minifigs can't! So there are some bonuses at least. -- Andrex
  11. Wow I love the sound of the Air set from TLC! Also, the new pics of the Shanghai showdown are excellent, I'm loving that old fashioned car! Thanks for the notification =). -- Andrex
  12. Excuse me, coming through~ *VWOOSH* Yeees! I'm really unsure about Force Unleashed. Reviews thus far claim it is incredibly short, yet I'm loving all the OT references and locations. I don't have a PS3 either, only a Wii =/. Wii controls apparently rule, but the Official Nintendo Magazine claimed their end time was 5:56 hours.. I could get the PSP version, but I think for once I'd want to choose cinematics over portability for a title such as this. What about you guys? -- Andrex
  13. Haha yeees I saw that booklet myself in London the other day. We don't seem to be having anything new this week, but not to worry ^^. Five weeks to go D:. -- Andrex
  14. That is stunning! Incredibly diverse, artistic and full of character. There's so much crammed in there, but it's done so that it actually works! Full marks from me =) keep up the outstanding work! -- Andrex
  15. I just posted the most recent release date up above pay attention! According to my latest preorder update, it's now October 10th. As for the Lego games, I must admit, I preferred the Star Wars titles over Indiana Jones. Then again that's probably because I found them the most fun ^^. Lego Batman is set to be brilliant though. Batman was on last night - you have to love the Joker and his hand buzzer! -- Andrex
  16. Hmm, I just got two updates on my preorder for the PSP version of Lego Batman =). "As you may already be aware, the UK release date for LEGO Batman: The Video Game has changed to 10-Oct-2008. Changes to release dates are relatively common in the videogames industry and are unfortunately beyond our control. Don't worry, your order is still live and will be despatched prior to its release date via your chosen method of delivery." "We are delighted to inform you that we have been able to reduce the selling price of LEGO Batman: The Video Game to 19.99 GBP Your credit / debit card will be charged with the new, lower price upon despatch of your order, even if the price goes up again before launch!" So some good, and some bad. But if you're interested, there you go! -- Andrex
  17. Batbrick, my mistake! He doesn't use his tray as an attack. Nonetheless, what an excellent character! -- Andrex
  18. Haha that's brilliant! I love that tray attack =P. Briefcases and trays, the heroes sure get the best weapons! -- Andrex
  19. That's exactly the kind of moveset I was thinking of myself! If they pulled off something like that, I'd be most pleased =). -- Andrex
  20. Superman would be fairly plausible, considering the amount of DC comic crossovers there've been. I mean, I was reading up on Batman villains. Lex Luther cropped up so many times x_x. You never know! -- Andrex
  21. Yea I saw The Batman on TV a couple of times o.O what's with it? It's more like Scooby Doo than Batman D:. Waaay too kiddified. -- Andrex
  22. Oooh Assassin Droids <3 I like. If only there was Durge haha. Nice TIE as well.. I have enough as it is though. Hmm, I hope there are more OT sets to come. -- Andrex
  23. Hoorah, count me in ^_^. -- Andrex
  24. Here we go! Man-Bat! [my apologies, it would not let me use the images directly =(] http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e47aff1d.jpg REAL NAME: Robert Kirkland (”Kirk”) Langstrom OCCUPATION: Biologist BASE OF OPERATIONS: Suburban Gotham City EYES: Red HAIR: Brown An expert in biology with a specialty in bats, Doctor Kirk Langstrom hoped to cure his growing deafness by creating a serum that would give him a bat’s ability of echolocation, which allows those creatures to use sound to navigate in the dark. However, the serum had an unforeseen side effect, reacting with Langstrom’s genetic makeup to transform him into a man-sized bat. The serum also robbed Langstrom of his intellect, and he went on a crazed rampage, terrorizing Gotham City until Batman was able to reverse his transformation. Langstrom, unwilling to give up on the serum, injected himself again soon after, and turned once more into Man-Bat. After kidnapping his fiancée, Francine, he injected her as well, and she too became a half-human/half-bat hybrid. Batman again stopped Man-Bat, restoring both Langstrom and Francine to humanity. POWERS In his bat-like form, Man-Bat has powerful wings that allow him to fly, and strength far greater than that of a normal human. He has the natural sonar of a bat that allows him to navigate in the dark, but his vision in daylight hours, when transformed, is severely limited. http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e4686f70.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e4533058.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e4533058.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e43f276f.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e42af1e9.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e41729c6.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e400d173.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e3ec7a6c.jpg http://www.shacknews.com/images/image-o-ma...8e0e3d8d182.jpg And there we have it =). -- Andrex
  25. Just checking.. you did all see the Man-Bat screens released a while back.. right? His bio with screenshots of him descending upon unsuspecting policemen, and that delicious shot of him before a full moon, etc? If not I can grab them for you ^^ it's just I was away a month, but I don't recall seeing them here on my catchup! -- Andrex
