tell her to check out e-bay for old lego, then she will realise to spend a bit more now, and when you enter your 'dark ages' (called growing up i think!), she can sell the lego and get a good return... that might be a good strategy! i doubt if megabloks has much collectors value, but old school lego keeps it value (may even beat inflation, sayin that at the moment stashin your cash under the bed probably beats inflation!) lego troopers to the parts bin! barry over and out 10-4 this has really hit my heart you know! a kid without LEGO (and he wants to build!), having to make do with MegaBollockz! this is not right theres to man kids today ( i know cause, my brothers and sisters keep dropin them out! ), that not interested in LEGO, or anything apart from a PS3, and this poor blighter has been tryin to build a boat ( that i presume has problems actually stickin together!) keep on trying mate, and keep nagging at you mum! she's bound to give in eventually!

yes, i think with detailed 6 stud vehicles (with doors this summer ), great designs and concepts they are gonna surpass the heady days of the eighties! not to mention the Modular Standard, which we can adapt and modify to our own ends, for the creation of great buildings as well! we are at the beginning of something special lego city on! barry over and out! 10-4

its just a shame they havn't stuck with green for the 'transport truck'... green truck=very excellent-o-lego (and some green doors? ) the turbine will probably be undersized though..... so a brinklink will have to be placed! the best bit on the box is that poor minifig hauling that missing turbine blade off his trailor... by hand! on his own! i think an inspection by Lego Health & Safety Officials is due! lego troopers to the parts bin! barry over and out! 10-4

im gonna go for AquaRaiders, simply for the pieces. I like yellow and i like robots! was not gutted to have missed those sea creatures, but would have deffo bought some sets just to get nice yellow shapes, and robot arm bits. lego on! barry over and out! 10-4

no, no, no, no, no! a better detailed truck is better (and 2 trucks, the yellow one looks four x four-tastic), and we can always modify the turbine shaft to raise it! the problem will be to resist the tempation to create a wind farm! its Vesta Energy, a danish company i think, Vista is OS! lego troopers to the parts bin! barry over and out! 10-4 and not only that we have a well designed low loader trailer! there where some issues in 7633 with that trailor, like an issue which was only solved by abandoning the pathetic design of the trailor and starting from scratch to get something which the cat drivers where happy about driving that Midi-Sized ecavator on! barry over and out! 10-4

the orange tow truck has doors (lovely orange ones ! yes! ), and it looks to me like the Wind Turbine Transport has a truck with red and a truck with yellow doors ! and i thought i would be reduced to red striped vehicles for ever , or to make do with taking a gamble buying slightly scratched ones from bricklink to reduce the amount of red striped ness going on with my MOC's barry over and out! 10-4

ahh i see, not much interest in trains here so would not have noticed these! but any price inflation for the brick is not positive... barry over and out 10-4

agreed this one might be a little to short, so maybe some modification will be needed to raise the turbine shaft, but i still think the Vestas Promo was positvely strataspheric, and a very big hazard to cruising aircrafts! as for Octan moving into renewables... i think is possible- look at Shell and BP who are both exploring a range of options for when the black gold runs dry! i'm sure the Octan executives will be worried about any new companies moving into thier quite monopolised market, and so will be attempting to head off competition and remain the number 1 player in there market! barry over and out! takling climate change in lego world! 10-4 lego on!
