  1. THe folder needs to be moderated so it is public, it will just take a little time. Plus all the early 2010 sets have already been disclosed in this thread already, so the catalog won't reveil anything new.
  2. That is so sad. Entire cities closing down because of a little snow, it's pathetic really. Does the rest of the world not understand the concept of driving slower when it's slippery, do they not know that people live in snow all the time, it's not a big deal. Congrats on the snow Joey Lock, enjoy it, this wasn't a rant towards you, I just think it's ridiculous when cities shut down over a little snow.
  3. Excellent, I'm a photogprapher myself Is Chanukah over?? Sounds like maybe a gameboy is going to be one of your later gifts def, congrats on your nice gift, you have a great wife. I'm probably getting my hopes up but I think my wife is going to get me the Endor set which I desperetaly want.
  4. Huh, seems like a very negative and short response to be used for bumping an old thread, but I guess I'm happy you did becasue this set looks great. I completely missed the HP line all together especially the flesh sets, which I love. I think for the price this is a great deal because you get so many great fig's for a decent price. Smashing review Clonie!!
  5. Their legs look so stupid, I really don't like how the feet are rounded, they look like little kid's when people use round studs for legs to make fig's smaller. nice review, but I still think these clone sets stink.
  6. Great looking ship, and I'm impressed with the interior, that's one thing the Black Seas Barracuda was lacking.
  7. Snowman pics are awfully dark, and if I were to fget either it's be the tree for sure, it's much more appealing to the eye than the plain snowman. I gave the snowman a below average and the tree and average.

    Hello

Hi curtisrlee, I think you meant to post this thread here. Hello! My name is... Hello back
  9. OMG, that is stunning, it reminds me of a few star wars ships, but also of a ship from the Matrix with all the pieces kind of hanging off. This could be a UCS space set for sure!! Great work!!!!
  10. Fantastic review, good to get an RA review for this wonderful set. I am definetaly buying multiples of these, I love those green men. Can you say 10 copies/
  11. Smashing review, I am begining to hate battlepacks because I feel the need to buy so many. great review!!
  12. I guess I'll try to sign up for this one too. I'm been excluded from the last 4 I've tryed to join. Do i smell?
  13. Talk about being unlucky, a 1 in 2 odd's
  14. How are you guys seeing this, the folder isn't public?
  15. Dave is right. Addig light creates a whole new ballgame, and lenses are the real player. I've got my eye on the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 I can't wait for that crazy speed.
  16. It's been a known fact that Agents is gone in 2010, one of our LEGO ambassaders told us. not to be rude but this is old news.
  17. $450 CAD is a good price, adn you won't be dissapointed, even if you do just shoot in auto mode with Jpeg's, they come out so crisp, you'll love it.
  18. The pics that Kim showed were 800x600, that's not squinting material. You could click on the pics to get bigger versions. I thought they were pretty clear and the Wampa looked spot on.
  19. Welcome to the forum! If you love LEGO's which it is clear you do, then this is the place for you!
  20. Yes and double yes. I know I've already responed my vote but I just have to reiterate my opinion. Old Flags rule
  21. I suppose so, but remember it's the mod's who think them up, they are the clever ones. Hey that's got a nice ring to it.
  22. Well the Nikon vs. Canon debate will go on forever. I for one am not hardcore either way. I went with Nikon because alot of my friends did and so that's what i got familiar with. An EOS XS is a GREAT staring point. There are much nicer cameras but they are much MUCH more expensive. The XS is considered and "entry level" DSLR, but don't feel bad, they still have lots and lots of features and capabilites that will just completely destroy any P&S camera you have ever used. DSLR's are kind of a different world as they produce RAW files as opposed to simple Jpeg's. You can still have it produce Jpeg's but that kind of defeats the purpose. With a RAW file you have much more control when editing in programs like Photoshop. All my pics in my review's were taken as RAW files, edited in PS and then saved as Jpegs to post to the forums. I don't want to get off on a lecture so I'll stop. The camera you are looking at goes for around $450-500 (US dolars) if you can get it for around that OR less, you're getting a good deal, and I say go for it. I assume it comes with the 18-55m lens which is a great standard lens to have. Oh ya, make sure you are getting a lens, DSLR's are often sold without one, this would be an expensive mistake if you overlooked it. otherwise pic one up, take some pics, play around with it and read the manaul, there is so much to be done with these cameras but they are at times complicated, understanding aperature and shutter speed is critical.
  23. LOL, uh oh. I may be here too much, I suppose I did report a few posts this morning. "My finger is glued to the report button!" I'm assuming I got this because I did report a few posts this morning. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
  24. Cool, if you'd like you can check out the reviewers academy, we train people to produce stunning reviews. If not that's cool too, I look forward to seeing them.
  25. Wow, congrats on all those old gems, and welcome to the forums!! Do you plan to open them or are you a MISB collector?
