Do you have any kind of proof or evidence to back this up? I'd like to believe it.

Have you been "playing" with them? I have chrome pieces from the late 80's that are still chrome. Back then I did play with them, all my new chrome is pretty babied so it doesn't get scratched. As for loosing its luster, I have not experienced that with my PotC sets.

This is one of those sets that the fans want but I cannot even imagine TLG would make, it would eliminate the need for some AFOL's to buy their oh so profitable sets. Again, I'd buy this in a heartbeat but I really doubt TLG will go there.

In my opinion any set that has flick fire missiles is an inappropriate use of flick fire missiles. I can't stand them.

I see your point, but it has almost turned into a general pirate discussion topic. For now I don't think it is hurting anything, but I'll keep it in mind.

I'm not totally fond of the feet/hooves, but besides that I love it. It's very intricate and the head/face is very recognizable, I love the goat goatee.

This may be the MOC with the fewest pieces ever. Yet it's kind of recognizable.
