Those are both very good tips. I get to a LEGO store maybe once a year so now I know the tricks of the trade. Thanks.

Bricklink can help you there. The going price for a sealed one on average is $67.85 I bought mine used and it was only around $30, but that was like 2 years ago.

Ahh, yes, thanks. I'll edit my review right now

That's sig worthy.

Goodness, this is horrible. The construction looks just bad, with the headlight pieces in that weird spot, adn as you mentioned the connections look forced. Thanks for the clone review but I'm sorry you had to spend money on this set, I can't even see you being able to display it due to the cluminess of the bricks. (non your fault). With all that said I like your review, it's detailed and you show the pieces for what they are. I'd usually ask for more views, but I think the one does it enough justice. You are like the clone brand queen. Thanks for the review!

If you go to any office supply store, you can get white foam core or tag board. here is a picture of my setup that I have used for all my reviews in my signature. A good camera is a good place to start as well. End result after Photoshop. I know Office Max may only be a US company (not sure) but here is a link so you know what I am talking about, and a few others (JimB, WF) also mentioned foam board. Elmers White Foam Board

Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?

You're beating me, mines covered in dust and most likely has a dead battery, either today or tomorrow I'm going to throw the charger on it, I forsee me changing oil on it in less than a month. It's actually startign to warm up here. -
I picked up another rebel battlepack and a chrome stormie from Toys R Us

It's a very catchy song, I'm kind of sick of it now, sine I had it on my phone and listened to it too much. I'm on a Nickelback fix right now.

Holy cow, that's awesome. I love how it could be perceaved as a Tesla Coil type of structure but you made it old school with a Castle feel. I really like the add on wall with the roof made of hands too. Cool design and I'm jealous of your tour guide, of which I have none of.

I really like your idea and your photography is awesome, especially the peeping tom shot.

The blood was a great touch. The skeleton doesn't really fit, but I like the design. I also love the re-abilitation center. I feel bad for the guy with two hooks.
-
I'm curious, how did you get that link??? I cna't search for it. I wonder becasue I'm trying to find the new Toy Story promo polybag the same way to see if I can buy it on line.
-
I wonder if this is like the chrome stormtrooper where you can buy them for a few bucks from the Toys R Us store, that would stink for anyone who paid a bunch for the other ones from bricklink.
-
Oh please post a picture of all your sets. I'm always amazed to see large MISB collections. I had around 20 boxes then I cracked and opened them all. Welcome to the forums.

Your flickr account was fun to look at, mines just review pics. You have alot of cool custom minifig's, I think you'll fit right in at the MCW (Minifig Customization Workshop) Welcome to the forum.

Toys R Us Exclusive Lego Stormtrooper Minifigure

You can also buy the polybags separate for $2.99 USD in the US at least, some stores let you, and some don't. Also keep checking online, they might get more stock. LINK^^^^^^^^^^^ -
Absolutely, to do it in chrome is a ridiculous thought as most pieces aren't even available in chrome. I was just thinking outloud, and I do love it in bluish grey.
-
Agreed, I bought 4 of the magnet's and for $40 I could have got 13 of these.

I really think you should. I am going to sound rude but I think your story is silly since you don't have any pictures of it in your MOC. The MOC is beyond awesome, but I wish your characters in the story would have been in the MOC. There are so many little scenes in this MOC that you could have included in the story but instead you talk about 2 women who aren't in the MOC at all. Sorry, that just really bugged me, on to the MOC, it's amazing, like all your creations. The cobblestone work, the buildings and your foliage is perfect like your other MOC's. You really have a perfect handle on these Pirate theme MOC's. I like your incorporation of some EB members, are they plotting behind that building?

Glad to have you, I'm slightly younger than you But I can understand your position completely. The online community changed my whole perspective on LEGO in general. If it wasn't for a great community like this I don't think I'd be as addicted to LEGO once again, as I used to be.

Very cool, I love seeing different versions of ships, especially a ship you don't see pretty much ever. I think (judging from your pictures) that the stand looks good, but I can't say for structural integrity. Awesome work, keep it up man!!

That's awesome, I thinkit's pretty spot on too. I love her in that yellow bike suite. Great job.! -
OMG, what a great story and awesome creations. I really love the storyline and the entire setup looks great. I cerainly don't have the patience for something like this. Your pictures are really good too, very well lit and clear. I simply love it!
