OK wow, I searched your threads to see if I had missed any of your DIY series and low ad behold I did. I've seen one or two setups of this scene before and this is by far the best. The wood stand for Vaders body looks so good, adn the flames are in the perfect positions. I like using the battle damaged vader and having his helmet on a post. I really think you did this scene justice.

They look awfully close to me, but I do see a slight differance. I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see. I think the radical wing on the focus a few posts up is mounted lower than the one on the Green RS. I would assume Subaru uses the same mounting place.

Sweet, I'll ahve to look for some PoP sets.

That is so cool, so is it pitch black in the room except for your phone?

Great review inky! Build pictures in classic Inconspicuous style. I love the ninja theme and really wish LEGO would bring it back, btu for now I can live through the reviews done here. Thanks@!

I like the dealership, it's small, but with about 10 more pieces of tan land pieces, it would be a full fledged dealership. I would love to see it grow larger, although your tractor improvements have been great. Shoot, i liked it with just the one little tractor.

Wow, first off let me say I am in love with your SW/LEGO room. I am really jaelous of that. Secondly, this is impressive. The build is big and requires alot of what I would consider specialty pieces. It was really nicely done too. The details are great. Do you have enough LEGO where you can leave this assembled, or will this have to go to the wayside for new creations?

Svelte!! What an awesome review. I am definetaly going to have to get some of these sets, ans this one looks pretty tempting. Thank you so much for the great review.

I think it's a good looking castle, and I like the walkway that's up top. I could see this in a forest setting somewhere.

I think alot of people will agree with you, but I am one on the other side of the fence, it would probably look crazy like the Focus spoiler.

Per the link. "Maybe. But judging by this solitary teaser of the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, it appears that the rally-bred hatch is getting an all-new wing inspired by Subaru's dearly-departed WRC contender. We'll know for sure on Thursday when the wraps officially come off at the New York Auto Show."

That's so cool. I think the amount of empty space actually add's to this MOC. It gives the feel of a scene you'd see in a movie, especially since you are zoomed back enough to see the mech chasing them down. I don't see the blood though?

Parts that just can't be taken apart without swearing loudly

Awesome tips Legostein, there are a few in there I had not thought of and will be most useful. -
Very nice, I am digging the darker glass.

Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?

Congrats Grimmy, keep the rubber side down. If this is your first bike, be careful, don't try to be a Moto GP racer your first day. The learning curve is big but happens fairly quickly. You guys are going to get sick of me sying this but I can't wait for Friday, only 3 more days till I get wake mine up. I put the batterey charger on it yesterday at lunch and by the time I got home, it was fully charged. All I need to do is get some oil, and I'm set. -
A big wing would be fine with me. WRC is my favorite motorsport. To me it looks like the 5 door hatch still, but with a giant wing. Excellent. I can't wait till thursday now.

Review: 5987 Dino Research Compound
Big Cam replied to ZO6's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow, this set looks like a lot of fun, and with some awesome pieces. I love it, and your review is great, so many cool features, I really missed out on some cool sets in my dark ages.. -
I'll be getting this set if nothing else just for Dastan, and now I really really want to see this movie.
-
Very nice. I like all the seperate action that is taking place. I think the cylinder suggestions was ust that, a suggestion. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a LEGO mechanism that allows progressive height increases. Good luck though.

I love it, so simple, but it looks like a real john deer lawnmower. My sister in law would love this, she works for john deer.

Spot on. So similar tot he Y-wing, but so different, adn you nailed it. Chaulk this up as one more mini for the master.

I'm sure a big hardware store would have something similar. Does it need to be clear? I know PVC pipe comes that big.

REVIEW: Prince of Persia 7571 Fight for the Dagger
Big Cam replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the review, I saw a few of these sets in my most recent LEGO catalog but seeing them done in a review is the best. I was going to pass on these sets but the more I see them, the more I want them. Great review! -
Excellent review, way to hit gold with style. I had no idea how big this was. I'm getting jealous of your large UCS collection. A truley fantastic review.
