THE REVOLUTION Plot: In 1775, the first shots of a worldwide Revolution were fired... In 1783 those shots were silenced, but not forever. This is a brickfilming series about the American Revolution, including amazing special effects, great battle scenes, and a little something for bored LEGO Pirate Fans to do on a Sunday Morning. ;D Trailers: Trailer #1 Episodes: Episode #1 will be released hopefully by October or November.

I saw the movie twice, it is spectacular! Inglourious Basterds is my favorite movie of the year.
-
Spectacular! Great sound effects, and great sets! Now if I may ask, where did you get those card pieces in the gambling scenes?
-
Well the outfit is supposed to be purple, and add that white cloth stuff under his neck. and he is supposed to have a golden trim on the edges.
-

Thanks Slyowl, I was waiting for someone to notice the flipper/fan techinique. Now I thought, what would a french court gathering be without fans? So I was searching my basement lego collection, and I found a flipper, so I thought, ok this could work, and it really did turn out nice. I will add designs to it to add elegance.

Yeah, Im still waiting for Brickarms to release their bayonet since It looks really good. I'm probally going to go into debt supplying my whole army with Bayonet's.
-
Thanks guys! I really tried my best to give it the court feel, I got inspired to do it, because well I have watched the movie, "Marie Antoinete" 9 times in the past 2 years so I remember each scene vividly, and I remember the scene when Louis and Marie were in the parlor room and there was a Pool Table in the backround, and there was a harpiscord so I tried my best to re-enact the scene but with my own touch. Once I finish my Lexington and Concord Brickfilm I will begin making a brickfilm called, "Marie Antoinette".

Hello, Bonjour, grüß Gott, Guten Tag, Aloha
Sir Wellington replied to Madame Du Bricky's topic in Hello! My name is...
Hello! Welcome to Eurobricks, its nice to meet someone with an interest in Marie Antoinette like me. I look foward to see some of your MOCs, hopefully they will involve Marie Antoinette and the court of versailles. Also is your username based off the name, "Madam du Barry" of King Louis's Mistress? -
Here was the references:

Vig. 89d This Madame is Versailles Important People Featured in this MOC: King Louis XVI, 1st from left, Marie Antoinette 2nd from left. Painting of: King Louis XVI Enjoy ;D, Wellington
-
Spectacular Moc, great job, I happen to be a huge fan of Marie Antoinette!
-
Welcome to the cub Madam Du Bricky, I have been a fan of Marie Antoinette since I was 4, and I have attempted many times building a Lego Model of the Palace of Versailles, with the wall paper, find a picture of the design on the internet and print it out and glue, or stick it to the walls. For the garden make sure to add waterfalls, now for shrubs, just use Green Bricks with a curved tile ontop to make them look like shrubs. Make sure you add alot of detail to the center of the building where most people would look, try to find a reddish brown brick to help build the outer walls. This is all the advice I can give for now.

Well with the new Bluecoats coming out hopefully next year, what shall we do with our older Bluecoats? I wanted to turn them into Napoleonic Troops, sadly they have a bright blue arm and a white back ruining it for me.
-
Now taking YOUR ideas for NEW PARTS - LAST DAYS!
Sir Wellington replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Peri-wigs: Per-wigs were huge in 18th century fashion, everybody wore them, sadly these little minifigures aren't wearing wigs. Bayonet: Even pirates had bayonets, every soldier across the world at the piracy age had a bayonet. Mortar: Large cannons aren't always as great as Mortars. Globe: A globe is a neccesity.
