I have always been rather unatracted to custom MF's...They seem to remind me of little kid toys more than LEGO, MF's should look like MF's...

Take pictures and display, unless it's not very important to me, and I don't like it. Depends on its quality.

Those are all good ideas that I have not tried, the way I do it works perfect for me because burning makes it look old...Which is what my sails look like... And yes there are definentley hole punchers somewhere but they are hard to use...

Well I was thinking, maybe we should create a new Sub-Forum for community, it would allow for a lot more chit-chat in the pirate forums (Which is practically the only place I post on Eurobricks. I was once a member who posted everywhere but alas I do not have the time for that anymore, so if we created a "Community" Sub-forum this would allow us Pirate fans (Most of us just post here anyways) to talk abou thing in life in general, like music, sports etc....Because we can only talk so much about Pirate LEGO.... Tell me what u think and vote!

And maybe you're right, but I guess we'll never know... I believe the only reason lego ships were bright and colorful is because people like them that way, but if you look at the black seas Barracuda, and the SES They are both beautiful! I mean really... They look good in LEGO.
