  1. Great review! I only have the older version and Jango's Slave I. Saw this in a store a couple of months ago and wanted to buy it but decided to do it some other time. I went back a while later and it was gone. Now I can't find it anywhere and it's too expensive on the internet. Dammit!
  2. 7119: Twin-Pod Cloud Car Name: Twin-Pod Cloud Car Theme: Star Wars Episode V Set Number: 7119 Pieces: 117 Year released: 2001 Minifigures: 1 Price: Can't remember, but $10.00 according to Peeron Personally, I love this little speeder. It's a bit blocky, but I like the design. Here's the front of the instruction manual. And the back. Minifig page. Random page. Now onto the minifig, the great Lobot! I really like this figure. Love his stoned-out look and of course the computer on the back of his head. The front of the Cloud Car. View from the top. A couple of photos with everything open. A walkie-talkie inside the hidden compartment. The printed controls inside Lobot's cockpit. The other cockpit has the same controls. Look to the camera, Lobot! There you go! Ready for take-off. The complete set: The Twin-Pod Cloud Car and Lobot. Price: 8/10 - Pretty cheap for this nice little set. Parts: 6/10 - Nothing special except maybe the printed controls and the cockpit windows. Playability: 9/10 - Very swooshable! Minifigs: 8/10 - Neat fig and exclusive for this set. Final: 8/10 - Good set with a good minifig. Solid.
  3. 7144 Slave I Name: Slave I Theme: Star Wars Episode V-VI Set Number: 7144 Pieces: 165 Year released: 2000 Minifigures: 1 Price: Can't remember, but $20.00 according to Peeron I got this set when it first came out in 2000. I liked it then, (I was still a kid) but now I prefer the #6209 Slave I. I don't have that one, but I would really like to. It looks a lot better, is more accurate in scale and has great minifigs. Anyway, let's get on with the review. First there's the instruction manual. Front... ...and back. The minifig page. I love the little photos at the top of the pages. A random page. The minifig included in this set is the awesome Boba Fett. This was the first set that he appeared in. The blaster is a bit ugly but that's how it was back then. And here he is without his helmet. Boba and Han Solo frozen in carbonite (only available in this set, #4476, #6209 and #10123). Han Solo, solo shot The Slave I The open cockpit. Boba behind the controls. A close-up of the controls. Nice printed pieces of course. Boba inside the cockpit of the Slave I. The wings on the side rotate with whatever way that you're holding the ship. Front view. Back view. Solo is going to Jabba! Solo inside the Slave I. A close-up on the guns. Don't really like them that much. The complete set. Price: 7/10 - Alright for the amount of pieces that you get. Parts: 7/10 - Alright as well. A couple of nice pieces such as the printed controls. Playability: 8/10 - Very sturdy and swooshable! Not enough features though. Minifigs: 9/10 - Boba Fett is a great figure and this is a relatively cheap way to get him. Final: 7/10 - A good ship with an awesome minifig but it's way too small and there are not enough special features. I have to get the newer Slave I!
  4. Yeah, I'm working on it What's this Reviewers Academy that you are talking about it?
  5. Thanks everyone
  6. Thanks. I really hate those damn stickers. I keep all of my LEGO in the attic and I've noticed that some of the stickers have started to come off. So when I press them flat again, they break off
  7. Good, because I'm going to do a whole lot more of them And thanks for the compliments! Those 'trans-blue cylinders' are those energy bombs that the Gungans use in the film (if you can remember). I think I'll use the prices from Peeron from now on, because I don't know what I paid for almost any of the sets that I have.
  8. Yes, they can.
  9. Sorry man
  10. 7115 Gungan Patrol Name: Gungan Patrol Theme: Star Wars Episode I Set Number: 7115 Pieces: 77 Year released: 2000 Minifigures: 2 Price: Can't remember Front of the instruction manual (don't have the box anymore). Back Minifig page. Random page. The two minifigures: A Gungan Soldier and Jar Jar Binks. The Gungan Soldier. The Gungan Soldier with his spear and (lovely) shield. Nice torso aswell. Jar Jar. Jar Jar's Kaadu. I really like these creatures and the green groundplate is a nice addition. Close-up of printed piece. Jar Jar on his kaadu. The Gungan Soldier on his kaadu. Back. Bomb compartment. The complete set. Price: ?/10 - Can't remember. Parts: 10/10 - This has a lot of great parts such as the Gungan heads, the kaadus, the blue bombs and the shield. Playability: 8/10 - This was a favourite of mine when I was younger. Great for creating the Battle of Naboo scene from "The Phantom Menace". Minifig: 8/10 - Pretty good. The Gungan Soldier is a nice addition. Couldn't care less for Jar Jar because I already have him a couple of times. But nice if you haven't got him. Final: 8/10 - Good set with good minifigs.
  11. Thanks for the compliments!
  12. 7124 Flash Speeder Name: Flash Speeder Theme: Star Wars Episode I Set Number: 7124 Pieces: 105 Year released: 2000 Minifigures: 1 Price: Can't remember The box has been long gone but here's the instruction manual. Back. Minifig page. Random page. The awesome Naboo Security Officer (available in no other sets). The speeder with the Naboo Security Officer. What's this? A hidden compartment? With binoculars inside! The Security Officer likes them aswell! Printed controls. Back of the speeder. The gun. The cockpit. Notice another printed piece in the bottom of the photo. The Officer in his speeder. Price: ?/10 - Can't remember. Parts: 9/10 - Love all the green pieces. The printed parts are also nice. Playability: 8/10 - Played with it a lot when I was younger. Has nice features such as the rotating gun and the hidden compartment. Minifig: 10/10 Love it. Exclusive for this set. Final: 8/10 - Good set, with a great minifig. Could have maybe used another fig plus a blaster for the officer.
  13. Hi, this is my first post here. I've been a long time LEGO and Star Wars fan and have been collecting Star Wars LEGO since the start in 1999. I noticed there are a lot of set reviews missing from The Star Wars Review Index. I have a lot of both old and new sets so I've decided to review a couple of them. Here's the first one: 7106: Droid Escape Name: Droid Escape Theme: Star Wars Episode IV Set Number: 7106 Pieces: 44 Year released: 2001 Minifigures: 2 Price: Can't remember The box has been long gone but here's the instruction manual (very small). Front. Back. Here are the minifigs that are included with this set: C-3PO and R2-D2. This set was one of the first to have these two characters in it. Here are the front and back of the escape pod. A close-up of the printed design. The 'interior'. Top. Bottom. R2 and 3PO in the pod. A couple of shots of the whole package. Price: ?/10 - Can't remember it, but it wasn't much as far as I known. Parts: 6/10 - Nothing special except for the printed 'walls'. Playability: 5/10 - Not much that you can do with this thing except put the two droids in it. Minifigs: 10/10 - Cheap way to get two great characters. Final: 7/10 - Nice enough set, but the pod could have used an interior and maybe a villian (Jawa perhaps?).
