  4. Thanks for ur comments, im guessing im the 1st to create waves like this by the sound of things. There are a few changes i would of liked 2 make but Derfel dismantled this Moc within mins of posting it as he needed the parts for his next creation.
  5. Very cute moc, wiv lots of detail and loving the skull pattern on the floor. Good luck!
  6. I know how strange, at least were not in the same catagory.
  7. Thanks! No chance of him helpin me selfish git lol, Hes way beta than me anyway but then ive only done a few (Still learning)
  8. Hi, I am back after having a baby and would like some advise as talkin to Zorro when i first created my account i am at a loose end. My partner Defel Cadarn and i use the same computer, i know we cant both vote but can we both submit moc entries for the competition, He has already submitted his in the large but i also have 1 to submit into the large. Is this a problem?
  9. This is neat, i do like the tiled roof, that stands out. Good job! And Hornbricker, did you say you have a 42 inch monitor? Thats as big as my tv!
  10. Long live the day when bluecoat torsos are availible on pick a brick! Deffintly need blue baseplates, I recently aquired 2 light blue baseplates and they work well too. So maybe make them more availible as well. I do agree on the ships, it seems lego reversed the roles for the pirate line, as we all know, it was the navy that had the big ships and the pirates used smaller faster vessels, apart from a few individuals.
  11. Hi All! This is one of the other houses i was building while working on my pink house, Someone suggested adding a garden which i have but sorry guys still no interior but i am working on that for my next house. To be honest i think the garden and house itself is a big enough moc for the time being, I dont want to run before i can walk. I hope this moc will brighten up your day. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/113718
  12. Im loving this house, It puts mine to shame lol Everything u've used just goes together nicely, The roof idea is very cool. The cat in the loft makes me laugh as i have 4 cats and they all climb the loft ladder and visit me up there while im building, obviously them climbing up and down is quite comical in itself.
  13. I'll be the 3rd then. Congratulations to the winning entries and evry1 who entered. Really good work
  14. Thank you very much Zorro. Nice to meet you Yep i understand about the voting thats interesting to know. Many thanks Honeybee
  15. Hi im Honeybee, I had never been interested in lego much as a kid and even having my own children ive neva really thought about buying Lego for them. But it all changed when i met my boyfriend Derfel Cadarn, who was obviously a huge lego fan and i see all the cool stuff he was building, This is a huge advantage cause if i need help he's there offering advise lol. I must admit it is a stress reliever. I also like playing Softball which is a bit like Baseball but the ball is slightly bigger and the pitching is bowled different. I would like to know how to join the Eurobricks Ladies? My Mocs arnt the best but at the end of the day its the takin part that counts. Bye for now!
  16. Ive been experimenting with different housing styles and have come up with this medievil style house. Obviously its home to a girl http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/113206
  17. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112726 Hi, im new to building mocs. I really wanted to start building houses, so i brought a couple of creator sets and came up with this for my first try. Tips and advice welcome
  18. Wow, amazing as usual. How do you connect all those 1x2 dark grey tiles? I love seeing large detailed mocs like these, not enough people seem to make them. Great work, now you have to better it
  19. Thanks for uploading the pictures of the buildings you made for your port. I wanted to have a better look at them. Nice work, i mite have to borrow a few ideas
  20. The end result does look very impressive, probably the best port ive ever seen. So much detail and i love how you've used wooden doors for roofs. Great work
  21. Vig. 67a Hey all, this is my first ever try at a moc of any kind. Ive been wanting to build something for a while now and i thought this contest would be a good place to start, plus there doesn'tg seem to be many women builders about. Any tips and advice will be welcome http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/105817
  22. Thanks for the great comments. Hopefully if all continues to go smoothly i should be posting my finished port by the end of the week.
