  1. Yeah, good point. But generally you can assume I'm hungover on Sunday
  2. That's awesome. Can't really think of anything bad about it. Also, about the cockpit, I think it's nice there are so many instruments and stuff in it. It reminds me of Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance.
  3. Something along the lines of the Empire indoctrinating them and stuff. Like I said, I was hungover when I build it and typed that little story. Also, it was ment as sarcasm, since I made the thing entirely grey.
  4. That's pretty awesome. It's kinda Star Wars meets Bionicle, in a good way.
  5. Nice one. When I saw that first picture I was immediately like "Okay, I'll surrender..."
  6. Good idea: And here's the droid. I didn't really give him legs or anything, since those aren't visible on the pictures.
  7. That one's awesome. I actually like the little lens flare on the Speederbike. It's like in cartoons, when something is really shiny and now or something there's this little lens flare and *ping* sound. Also I don't know if that is intentionally, but the other Scout Trooper just has this "meh, show-off" look on his uhm... face... because he's looking at the camera. Great stuff.
  8. Being a soldier in a tyrannical empire is pretty exhausting, so after a hard day of shooting everything but the hero and bumping into door frames the Stormtroopers can go here and relax. There's a droid working here 24/7 and the colourless grey interior will make sure you'll feel at home rightaway. Oh yeah, please leave your weapons at the door. Just let me know if you want more pictures, I'm a bit too hungover at the moment to be all photographical and stuff.
  9. As soon as I have an epiphany or something on how to modify the back I'll update it :P
  10. That Indy shot looks awesome. One comment though, it reminds me of that scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Indy was wearing a German uniform in that scene. Maybe it would be cool to do it with Indy in a uniform? I don't know if there are green uniforms though...
  11. Today I bought the Imperial Dropship, and I think it's very neat. Especially since these are my first Stormtroopers. Anyway, after putting the thing together, I decided to MOC it, so here goes: An overall view. Please pay no attention to the RES-Q sticker. I only have the trans green version of the part, and I didn't want to remove the sticker. As you can see I mainly extended the cockpit, and added some weaponry. One of the rocket launchers. It already shot one rocket, and once it's empty, the yellow flap will go down, just like on the other side. The rocket's exhaust blast is redirected to the sideway vent at the back, so it won't shoot out the back, and vaporize one of the Troopers. A side view. It's pretty long, compared to the original. A look inside the cockpit. The Shadow Trooper is still the pilot, and there's a Stormtrooper as co-pilot/gunner. And here's the back of the ship. It's actually completely unmodified as I ran out of inspiration. The only change is that there are also 2 Scout Troopers onboard, one of which is having a conversation with the Stormtrooper. Well, that's it. When I get some ideas for the backside (and more batteries for my camera) I'll update the thing.
  12. For everybody out there with a ginormous army... fear my massive Imperial Legion!!! Wait, nevermind.
  13. Thanks everybody :) And yeah, I know there are two minifigs that don't really belong there, but they're there because I ran out of Western minifigs. Also, I've been using the pirate as a "Mexican" dude in my Western stuff since I can remember.
  14. So, I watched the Good, the Bad and the Ugly some days ago, and decided to do something with the Western Lego I have. I don't really have a lot, but I think I got something nice in the end. It's a convoy, guarded by the Cavalry and some volunteers. The main supply cart, with some spare wheels: The other wagon, with some added horses: A Gattling gun pulled by a horse: And they definitely need the escort, because even the law ain't safe in these here parts: More pictures here once it's public.
  15. Those pictures are awesome. In every way. I was thinking of doing one myself, with a broken Speederbike and a dead Scout trooper (take off the helmet and replace his head with a skull) but I don't know if it'll work with my camera. I also tend to suck with stuff like composition.
  16. I could add something like a missile launcher or an extra laser, but I decided to build it using only the parts from the set, so I ran out of bricks :P
  17. I decided to make a Star Wars MOC, but since I don't really have that many Star Wars sets, I chose to modify the speederbikes from 7128 into one big Heavy Imperial Speederbike!!! I used almost every part of the two Speederbikes... and the thing looks pretty much like two Speederbikes slammed together at high speed, but still. I like it. So, here's how it generally looks: It has 4 directional steering vanes, for added manouvrability, since the thing is bigger then a normal 74-Z. For the same reason it also has reinforced landing skies. The top view. Side view. As you can see, it's not that much longer then a 74-Z. The passenger seat. It's slightly elevated so he can shoot over the driver's head. He can also fully lean backwards, in case he needs to dodge branches and stuff. And this is probably the last thing you would see if it was coming towards you at full speed. Pretty menacing if I say so myself. Especially the driver, he looks mean. Well, comments and critics are welcome.
  18. That was so awesome. Too bad he misspelled Boba Fett at the credits though.
  19. Thanks. I like the second version way better as well. I'm really tempted to make another one, but I don't think I've got another one of those tow cable thingies. And I got the idea when I got the Egyptian set with that windshield.
  20. That's pretty awesome. Can we have a look at the inside? Pwetty pwease?
  21. Ok, made a slightly revised version. I've lowered the roof, so now the driver is completely shut off. Also, I have to remove his legs otherwise he can't sit. I've also shortened the back by one row and I've lowered the entire chassis. Well, I just removed the 2x3 plates between the chassis and the wheels, but still. I also moved the gun from the centre to the left and added binoculars, so the driver can shoot it from inside. More pictures here once they are processed.
  22. Nope, I think I got 2 or 3 sets and they're all in red. And after looking on Peeron, they only exist in red, so sorry.
  23. I got the windshield from the truck in the Egyptian Temple set. And yeah, the centre is a bit way back, but because of the baseplate thingy I can't really move the tires back. Also, I made it a bit lower by removing the bottom row of blocks. The driver's seat is now completely closed off and I had to remove his legs, otherwise he wouldn't fit. I'll get some pictures later on.
  24. I always made a Humvee from this set: So now I decided to do it again, only make it bigger and better! And apparently blacker... because I dediced a yellow Humvee is really not done! So basically the only part left intact from the original set is the undercarriage (almost) and the way the front is build. One problem I had was that I couldn't find any black mudguards, so I just used 2x4's and raised the entire chassis so the wheels wouldn't collide with the chassis. Anyway, here are the pictures: I also added larger doors so he has better protection. (Actually I couldn't find the smaller right door... well, not until I already had these two in. Somekinda Murphy's Lego Law) The gun on top. Now if that isn't menacing, I don't know what is! Hmm, picture doesn't really show it well, but the back can open!!! And inside the back is... Completely nothing special. Here's the minifig next to it, for size comparison. Size comparison from the front. And the back can also be removed!!! And there's still completely nothing special in the back!!! Side shot without the back. And since this was on repeat while building it... NARWHALS!!! BECAUSE THEY'RE AWESOME!!!
