  1. I think she called them that because she thought they were brothers because they have the same face (little children who think clone troopers are droids aren't going to know that they are all clones of the same bounty hunter). Anyways, the episode had much more better action scenes, dialouge, and storyline, and the droid "humor" was actually funny, and the Tactical droid proves to be a formidable and commensurate nemesis to Kenobi. The scenes involving the Acclamator ships were very breathtaking, and we learn a lot about clones in a way similar to "Rookies", with the way Waxer and Boyle take care of the Tweliek girl. Next weeks episode seems like it will be very impressive. I say: 4.5/5 Also, did anyone else catch the short promo for the Hostage Crisis episode?
  2. As promised earlier, I, Vulture Droid, now unveil my MOC of the Mankvim-814 Techno Union interceptor... Way back when episode III first came out, I was reading a list of ships to appear in the movie, and I saw this ship listed alongside the V-Wing. I liked it right away, its bland simplicity reminding me of late WWII Japanese aircraft. When I later saw pictures of General Grievous' Bellbulab-22 Fighter, I thought "Hey, that looks almost the same! Except with, you know, engines." Fast forward several years later... TLC releases 7656 General Grievous' Starfighter, and I can finally relive my dream of building the Techno Union Interceptor. Head-On I kind of wimped out on the side wings. Underside Back I blatantly stole the back of the ship from a real set! can you figure out which set it was from?* Full View And, for Comparison *7656
  3. Meh, indeed it was visually appealing, and i did like Wat Tambor and the Confederate captain, Storm Over Ryloth was to out of pace (some parts seemed very fast and confusing (the first attack) and some felt very slow and strange (Yularen and Ahsoka)) and some plot points don't add up (talking about picking up Anakin with a tractor beam but instead picking him up with a shuttle). As far as the battle, the opening scene in Jedi Crash was better. 3.5/5
  4. Nice! reminds me of this, which you might see a MOC of soon!
  5. Im sorry, but this is probably the best (ucs?) venator i've seen so far. Most are either too fat or short, however, the guns need to be much bigger, also try looking for an open circle decal to put on the side (if you plan to rebuild it).
  6. I don't think TLG will find a molded head neccesarry since the pirates heads are so close to regular heads, so they'll probably end up like the tusken raiders.
  7. I've been playing for a while, I have a Fender Mustang, and acoustic, and an Ibanez artcore semi-hollow bass. I have a crybaby wah, Grunge distortion, and a multi-effects pedal and a cheap amp.
  8. While the Blue Shadow Virus arc wasn't the huge story cartoon network said it would be, it had some good parts- -The crazy doctor reminded me of what i've read about crazy nazi doctors during WWII, the first truly creepy character of the show -All the parts in the bunker after the virus was released -Little homage to TPM (angels) -The way the gunships get Obi-wan, Anakin, and the clones into the base.
  9. My opinion on the new sets- 8039 Venator- Wonderful! by adding the handle, lego has apparently learned their lesson from 6211 (star destroyer)- You can't pick up a heavy set with a single layered base on the bottom of the ship! 7749 Hoth- Nothing too special, however an OT-era medium sized battlepack is nice. Why do people want Taun-Tauns so much? 7754 Home One- Finally Ackbar and Mothma! and a different colored A-Wing! 8036 Shuttle- Bigger than I expected, and if the box is more up to date than the display, then we get a blue pilot droid! 8037 Y-wing- Too yellow, no special figs, and no landing gear 8038 Endor- Beautiful, i see lots of playibility in this set, and an at-st that actually walks? beautiful 7748 Tank Droid- The tank is overpriced and to short, but new! jetpack molds!, and the launcher reminds me of the early star wars sets.
  10. Picked up 6239 Cannon battle and 7751 Ahsoka's fighter and vulture droid both from wal-mart
  11. The printed pieces are nice, but the way the side guns are attached leaves something to be desired.
  12. Hello, I am Vulture Droid, named after my first lego set, 7111, and my first after my dark ages, 7660. I come from Arizona, and have been a long time lurker on these boards. I hope to meet a friendly online community. Good day!
