playmobil project - merchants' guild
medieval_total_lego replied to medieval_total_lego's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
thanks guys for your feedbacks, the orginal playmobil set was a very rare set and was released at the end of the '70. I now that it's pretty different from the original but i tried to convert to lego (respecting the "lego taste") and not only copy the playmobil set. Building the roof was very difficult beacuse the building is based on the old light gray bricks so i hadn't the right pieces to build it (i'm talking about this piece http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorI...p;itemID=78163) i hope you like it anyway see you soon with a new project -
here you are my latest moc about converting old playmobil sets into lego sets this is the merchants' palace, a place where the richest families meet and take the most important decision. click below for more pics: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=390008 (when moderated) http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/131386

thanks gouys for your feedbacks! i wanted to be faithful to the original brickmania set, so exterior seems to be old but i wanted to have a "personal copy" of that wonderful brickmania set. regarding interior i can say that, IMHO, chandlier and bell tower are a nice touch but every advices are welcome!!! Marco -
