Do you honestly still think that taking out all the kill meals - which you won't be doing by voting me off - will prevent you from being killed? Oh, right, you're a Venus Lord, and it will prevent you from being killed, because you'll just outnumber us all and vote us off one-by-one during the days and stab your allies in the back at night. If you're not a Venus Lord... then, well, your face really says a lot about your intelligence Mr. Daylight.

Even if Shadowghost's gang knows about all the night kills, which I doubt as we've only seen them use one ever, what are the chances they manage to grab the kill meals in time again tomorrow? Besides, I honestly can't understand you expect everyone to believe the Saturn's Rings gang is the only one to know about all the kill meals? We all get a pretty varied menu around here. Do I really have to repeat that in the end it will all be about the numbers? Most of us won't be around when one gang will be victorious, but I at least don't want to be beaten by four Venus Lord gang members. Preferably, I don't want to be beaten by the Venus Lords at all.

I indeed think it's a good idea to just stick to the basic roles in this guide. Besides, even if more roles would be covered, hosts in advanced games tend to make up variations of the basic (or even the more complex) roles. So, this guide will and can never be complete.

I don't know what Shadowghost knew. I've just seen two killing meals being killed already (Rufulzud and Shadowghost died with them). In the end this is all about the numbers. And I know that the Venus Lords haven't lost a single member yet. Time to change that I think.

Not to try and rub it in any further with you eiker86, but these things are in the standard EB mafia game rules. They are there for a reason. As a player you're supposed to read them carefully. When you'd ask questions about your role in the discussion thread, you run the risk of exposing a night action you may have to the scum. Or as a scum, exposing yourself to the town. And when you play more advanced games, you'll find the rules can change from the standard rules. And in Hinckley's The Baritones 3, they even changed during the game on some days.

Another very informative review Rufus (excellent pictures and entertaining writing). I'm not really a fan of the large Creator cars, but for people interested in this series you give a very good overview of this model's features and its pros and cons. On such a large scale, working steering is essential if you ask me, so in this respect it improves on its white and red predecessor. Too bad the aesthetics suffer a bit with the oversized front wheel arches. The large turning circle is disappointing indeed. The second model is a bit uninspired, but I'm sure kids will love an F1 racer. The colour scheme is a little wacky indeed and the steering wheel placement looks a little odd. The telehandler on the other hand is a pretty original creation. Too bad they didn't try to implement rear steering on this model though, but it makes up for this with other functionality.

There may have been another reason. LEGO may have wanted to stick to the use of primary colours as their main colours. I always thought that was the reason they used a limited amount of grey and even brown or green in sets, including town. Green was mainly used for base plates and vegetation throughout the 1980s town sets and the only brown I remember are minifig brooms. You could ask the same question for those colours: why not make bricks and plates in those colours if you use the colours nonetheless? You still see mainly primary colours being used in today's City sets, with dark-tones only very recently being introduced and used rather sparsely so far. When they finally decided to release a full-swing castle line they must have realised it looked unrealistic to use only primary colours for castles. But, I like the idea for this project and I will certainly be following along.

I'm convinced it's the flipside of the 'brick' element (similar to what they've done with the grille brick). It's visible in the pictures that there is texture on two sides of the element and I can't imagine that being 'wasted' on the same pattern on both sides.

So, a third gang. Looks like Derwar was poisoned, possibly by Rufulzud last night. In that case, that's probably one less kill to worry about as of tomorrow. Makes you wonder how many gangs there are in this prison, after having confirmation on the El Plutns and the Mars Savatrucha gangs now and Shadowghost's 'Venus Lords' reading of Drakius.

I guess I was just in a hurry to vote for you. Can you please tell me who to vote for now? I agree with your points about Shadowghost (I've said the same thing once or twice before, today). However, I still don't see you denying you're part of the Venus Lords gang though.

And the result you got back said... what? Shadowghost came forward with a name of an unknown gang. At least you do mention the reading you got back. I see it as a possibility that there are more than two investigative actions and one of them just identifies whether someone is town or not. I still think it may be scum fighting scum today, so this by no means 'clears' Shadowghost. He does sounds most credible in his accusations though, as he was the one to immediately come forward and mentioned the exact result he got back. Vote: Drakius Knight (Dragonator)

Talk about a good start, indeed. ... and it seems like we haven't run out of luck. But how likely is it that we really got this lucky on the first two days? Exactly my fear. But then again, as Tierro on day 1, Shadowghost is sticking his neck out today. And I'm sure he knows his neck will be on the chopping block tomorrow if this turns out to be false information. If nothing comes up that contradicts this finding, I think the course of action for today will be clear again.

Unless the speculation about more than one scum faction turns out to be correct. I agree that the wording of the result (if Tierro is telling the truth, of course) could hint at that possibility. And, as you indicate, there is the possibility of a third party (assuming the investigation even gives the exact alignment in that case, and not just 'scum'/'not scum', for example). At this point, this is all we have and indeed seems like the only way to advance... And considering the warden opened voting as I was speaking, I might as well...
