I suppose they're not sticking together 'TOO well' (so not really on-topic), but you could try to put 1 x 2 bricks on the top and bottom and then try to separate the two plates. Now you're left with 1 x 2 bricks with 1 x 2 plates on the top or bottom, but they typically are easy to separate.

Great log cabin. I especially like all the wood detailing around the porch. The beach made out of long slopes works really well and the way it's integrated into the rest of the landscape immediately caught my eye. It seems like the next Winter Village set is going to be a log cabin. So, if those rumours come true, I doubt your project has any chance.

I think it's best to not further discuss the game until Bob gets a chance to respond here. He asked for both the Discussion and Conclusion threads to be locked and I'm sure he had good reason to. If he wants you to discuss the game, I'm sure he'll ask for one of the threads to be reopened.

Sure, it is, and including the extra parts probably still outweighs the costs (labour, shipping) TLG would incur in the rare case that parts were missing.
