  1. This has been posted already.
  2. He said he'd come back this morning so we could finish the job.
  3. Sure, you could be lying and trying to hide that Edgar was in fact attacked by a member of the Demon Legion. It was suggested he was watched earlier, which would reveal the identities of the people who targeted Edgar... If you'd be a member of the Demon Legion yourself you might even know about the kill MO to make your story look more credible. I'm inclined to believe you for now though. If this is true, this would leave us without much to go on, because you just know you were attacked but not by who. But I'm still hoping all the people who apparently targeted Edgar can give us something to go on. There is still the possibility that they blocked him if they believe he is indeed the firefighter. Oh, and keep working on your play-writing skills... you'll get there eventually.
  4. Smacking him with a frying pan, just as he likes it. WHAT?! Nothing. I swear. Just minding my own business nibbling on some cherries. I think it's my sister's actually, she's a few years younger and was never that much into LEGO. Don't tell her I have it. Coincidentally, these are the only three Fabuland figs I have that people use as sigfigs here.
  5. Did you rule out the possibility of a neutral arsonist? Seems much more likely to me, you silly lamb!
  6. The Fabuland Furry Fun Container
  7. It seems like quite a lot happened during the night. Poor Booker burned in his own house. What was the blue object in his possession? Some kind of protection that wasn't effective for some reason? The baker's wife seems to have it again now... maybe she will redistribute it. And then some magic happened that we haven't seen the results of. It seems like we should be most worried about the red flashes, at least they look most menacing. And it looks like we really should get serious about convicting someone today. A random kill and especially the extra powers given to the Demon Legion aren't things to look forward to. I hope someone picked up some leads during the night that can be somehow communicated to the rest of the village. And Ms. Bunny, why are you so late today? You seem to be occupied with that long hard carrot...
  8. This is playing the game outside the day thread and not allowed per rule number 6.
  9. He even stalks the people he trusts... During mafia games, his day-job is stalking EB members.
  10. The thing that was holding me back from unvoting Edgar is the lack of an alternative. I don't really believe the Hippo would attract so much attention to herself to cast the first vote against Edgar if she was scum. The whole bandwagon that followed during and after Edgar's defense has me really worried though. And yes, that does include you Sheldon. All of them seemingly without paying any attention to Edgar's ongoing defense. A bloodthirsty group of Demon Legionnaires on what seemed to be a certain conviction of Edgar? Surely not all of them are scum... I'd most likely support a vote against any one of them, so if anyone has any leads or even some more thoughts? Unvote: Edgar Elephant (WhiteFang) I agree with Brigit Bunny that after the coming night we'll likely get to know more about Edgar.
  11. Thanks for the review Fangy. A great assortment of figs indeed. TLG seem to deliberately only put two full series in a box these days to make reselling these in complete series a lot hardermore expensive. The figs that are represented in larger quantities are pretty good though this time.
  12. I agree that 'ganging up' somebody this way can be useful. At least we got a claim out of Edgar that way. What Edgar has told me privately is entirely consistent with his story in public and I know he told at least one other animal the exact same thing. Which of course by no means clears him. He could have well conjured up the story after seeing the recently burned-down house. Also, he rather quickly 'spilled the beans', which left this big target on his back. At least I think we shouldn't focus solely on Edgar and also be exploring alternatives. If we conclude at the end of the day that Edgar is the one who should be convicted, so be it... So, did anyone notice any other suspicious sniffingbehavior? Any other leads, ideas?
  13. I've also been talking to some people, Edgar included, and I too am far from convinced this is the right thing to do. What would be the way to move forward then? Get an investigator to look into him? How will that be credibly communicated to us then? Although he did practically give his role away as soon as he had a few votes against him... not the smartest move to make. I'm afraid that even if he lives through the day he has painted a huge target on his back.
  14. Grammar: check before you press the button. Replying to someone else, just add a new post. Within a certain amount of time, it simply adds to the initial post. With mafia, it's really important to double-check your posts before actually posting.
  15. It may not be stated that clearly, but I'm not really confused about what Edgar is claiming. So I don't think you can reasonably use that as an excuse anymore to vote for him. It's more about whether we should believe him or not...
  16. I certainly won't blame you for it. I've been going over what Edgar has been saying so far, and it hasn't been really helpful. But then again, who can be really helpful on a first day? But, we have to start somewhere... let's see what Edgar has to say in his defense. If it's really good, I might use my one allowed 'unvote'. Vote: Edgar Elephant (WhiteFang) Vote tally: Edgar Elephant (WhiteFang): 2 votes (def, Rick)
  17. Will that be after we chain someone up in the town square? I'd hate to still have that on my mind... The scumbags will likely know this so they'll at least try to speak up. I also find it unlikely they will 'slip up', especially with so many 'all starsfurs' around. So, I'm afraid I will have to agree with you that we have not much, if anything, to go on right now... All of you still talking breakfast? Isn't it time for lunch yet? Lazlo? Any meat to be had for lunch? Kenda? Some bread to go along with that would be nice. And to avoid being seen as just a 'taker', my offer for a bubble bath still stands. I will get the hot tub fired up.
  18. No, I'm afraid not. Members of the Demon Legion will try hard to not be associated with each other. Furthermore, at this point we know nothing about each others allegiance, so it might be that a random villager is forming a 'connection' with a scumbag. So, if we convict that random villager, that would clear anyone who's 'buds' with them?
  19. Why are you sniffing my butt? It tickles...
  20. Good morning everyone. Apples and fish for breakfast? Well... uhm, why not? I too find it hard to believe there are members of an evil Demon Legion among us. Are we set on voting someone out today? As Marcellus indicates, we have to start somewhere... ... I bet, but it's making you smell horrendously. Why don't you come over to my beauty salon and I'll let you soak for a while before we'll have some waxing fun.
  21. Yeah, that's way easier than saving the image locally and uploading it. I wouldn't have expected anything else from you though... uhm, I mean, being a toy maker and all. How are those versatile interlocking wooden pieces coming along?
  22. Sigh... and here I thought we had our own peaceful little community hidden deep in the forest... to think that there are members of an evil Demon Legion among us... Anyway, I'm ready to help rid our village of them and restore peace in this furry forest. Becka Bulldog reporting in. If you're in desperate need of a manicure, waxing, or any other beauty treatment, you know where to find me...
  23. Rick

Why the hell are you greeting me in your status? :P

  24. Two of these can easily replace it in this case (you have to replace the two plates in the row after it with a 1 x 4 plate though). It's a neat little set to get as a freebie and a really nice small parts pack indeed. Nicely reviewed Rufus (as usual ).
  25. As an example, the two Winter Village sets aren't that expensive, although a really good deal (parts/price ratio). But most of them have a significantly higher price point than the largest sets that are sold through retail outlets (Technic and Trains aside perhaps). What really sets them apart is the use of advanced building techniques though. Therefore, they also usually have a higher recommended age compared to other sets in the theme.
